Just got one a week ago. It’s easy to use, fun, and sounds amazing! Pairs up great with other little synths too!

makes PO look large but it can hold a larger length X amount of (loop like) samples?
@SaturdayMusicMachines Жыл бұрын
It can hold over 100 samples apparently. I have not tried that myself yet though, lol

Is it possible to build one?
@SaturdayMusicMachines Жыл бұрын
It could be possible, the creator has put the source code on his website. Take a look at the instructions pdf here... infinitedigits.co/wares/pikocore/
What are the components around the on/off switch and next to the buttons? Is this a mod that you did when building it? The assembled version (or v 1.0.0 at least) has the switch underneath the usb c jack.
@SaturdayMusicMachines Жыл бұрын
There are 2 capacitors and a resistor next to the on/off switch and there are resistors next to the buttons, no modding by me. It did confuse me as the pcb diagram must be an older version.

It looks like the woovebox or something cool af
@SaturdayMusicMachines Жыл бұрын
I guess you could compare it mostly to a pocket operator.

49 quid fun. Any reason why the samples couldn't 44.1? Is it easy to load samples on there?
@SaturdayMusicMachines Жыл бұрын
No idea, and not tried loading my own samples yet. I think there is a tool on the devs website for custom samples, but it's not clear.

Does the nyblcore play same samples as pikocore or different samples?

Not sure sorry.

Looks like a Frankensteined Pocket Operator 🤣.

Mashing those drum samples sounds mental! 😆

Cool enough. But would be better with some simple capacitives sliders!!!

Like dreadbox gear, that would be good! 👍🏻

Micro-MicroGranny?
@SaturdayMusicMachines Жыл бұрын
It's more like a pocket operator, the microgranny is a granular sampler. 👍🏻

Sorry to be negative, but the soldering on that pico is terrible! Flux everywhere. Hit that with some 90% isopropyl. Yak
@SaturdayMusicMachines Жыл бұрын
It's not the best, I know. Thanks for the tip 👍🏻

You're not sorry to be negative. Really lets be straight. I mean you could say hey try using some alcohol to clean flux . Make it look better. 😊 with happy face. Narc
