I needed to hear this teaching to encourage myself to have the courage of my conviction to stand for the truth. My very good friend, whom I've known for over forty years; her daughter is getting married to another woman. I'm sad, I love my friend and her family, but I can not condone this by declining the invitation. I'm trusting the Lord for the right words to let them know how I feel. Remember me in your prayers. Many good things were said in this sermon, but it missed the mark entirely. This text was about the crucifixion/coronation of KING JESUS. Here He completed the work His Father gave him, providing a way for us to be with the Father. "IT IS FINISHED!"
