+Magical Portal I really don' t know much.I know windup,livesteam and battery(DC) used only two rails Most of the early electrics used three.,HO and N use two rail.The hookup is permanently on the track & there is a pickup on the wheels of the tender(I believe).

Wanna bet ? In 2376, there will be millionaires with such landscapes with real, genetically modified human beings, cows, goats, a king, a princess, a dragon and all that... No Grimm-type faireytale ! They will be kept as some kiddies today keep ants, the guests will wonder what they "are up to this time", and whether there will be fist fights or not at the O-scale Irish pub, whether the king will survive yet one more weekend or will be hanged in the tallest O-scale oak on top of the O-scale mountain so that all O-scale folks can see what happens with all too frivolous leaders....

I was questioning how Michelle Bryan could dispute the youtube video posters claim it was O scale, without a clear reference; I was not disputing PILENTUM. I don't my scales that well at all, I just noticed the video usually only showed the layout, so, for example, there wasn't a person standing near the train, or some well known reference to compare to the layout. If I can only see the layout, and no other objects, it's more guesswork to me, such as guessing the focal length of the lens or something to figure out approximate scale.

Of course level of detail can be a good indicator of scale as it's obviously harder to get the same detail level at each scale.
