It's always nice to finish up a project. I really want to finish up our latest monster box of Eagles. I think my favorite bar is my 25 oz. Monarch Precious Metals. The shape and weight are awesome. The kilos are OK, but the 25 oz. is just cooler. Best wishes.

I totally know what you mean, No Name - I love unique bars, and I love my bars from Monarch as well.

I wanna see all those quarters put out side by side to see how much of an area a Guardhouse box covers. Now that would make for an interesting video! lol

AHA - Financial planners - It seems they are very good at getting a person thinking about and setting plans to achieve financial goals. For instance, mine had me in an fairly high risk vs reward portfolio - I made very good money in 2019, 2020, and 2021. However, at the onset of 2022, my advisor should have noticed the changes coming and warned me about the markets. So for the first 5 months of 2022 I lost a pretty good chunk. So my experiences lately have been planners are great in the good times and kinda stink in the rough times. So bottom line - A good planner that can keep you ahead of inflation in these times are worth their weight. But, if they are not going to monitor current situations and advise you accordingly, then here's the door..... Almost finished with the quarters! Now a monster box of gold eagles is next!

Hi silverhair, you are wise beyond your years, and I know you have many ;) I completely agree with your take on financial planners. I had a free consult, so I took advantage. The meeting changed nothing on my end, for sure. btw, I can't even fathom a monster box of gold eagles, but it won't stop me from dreaming. Have a great week!

I know you're a bigger bar kind of stacker but I really enjoyed stacking fractional kilo bars. That is 10 - 100 gram bars from a particular mint. Right now, the 100 gram bars are much cheaper than what I paid for them when I put the sets together. That my be something to consider?

It seems like a thin walled cardboard box is too flimsy to support the weight of $500 FV. Love the project, but seems a stronger container is needed

What would be really interesting to know - and no doubt eye-opening to the great majority of stackers - is if you would calculate just how well, or poorly, your investments in U.S. Constitutional Silver, bullion American Silver Eagles and privately minted Silver Rounds have performed over the nearly ten-year period of time that you say you have been at this endeavor. I’m thinking your loss in actual purchasing power of all those dollars allocated toward Silver has been tremendous, and that you would have been far better off putting that money into stocks, real estate, or even U.S. Treasury Bonds and Notes, or even a Certificate of Deposit.

The thing is Roger, I don't look at it as an investment and I suspect many other stackers don't either. I have certainly "invested" in many other things that you specify and some you didn't but the PM stack is for a different purpose IMHO!

Hello Roger, you bring up a very valid point. If I considered my precious metals purchases an investment, I would be much more concerned than I am. Having said that, I will tell you that the majority of the metals I have purchased are in the green from the past 10 years. I dollar cost average by buying a little bit every month. I do the same thing with my brokerage and retirement accounts. I will also tell you that my wife and I max out our Roth IRAs and employer matches in our 401ks. I am most definitely not all or nothing with precious metals. I look at my precious metals as a retirement supplement/inheritance. With the amount of manipulation in the metals markets, I see only upside with a time from of 30+ years. This is a great question, and a great video topic. Thanks!

2 things to keep in mind when it comes to Financial Advisors. First & foremost they are salesmen. Nothing more, nothing less. Car salesmen sell cars and financial advisors sell insurance products and annuities for the most part. Avoid variable annuities, go for fixed indexed. Don't expect more from most of them than your local car dealership. Sad truth. Secondly, I can't repeat this enough FIDUCIARY FIDUCIARY FIDUCIARY. Talk to that advisor and that advisor only, ignore everyone else in the office. Avoid the churning & twisting of existing policies so they earn new fees.. And one more thing FIDUCIARY. ✌🏻
