Sir, what are we trying to achieve by doing this. Why is this to be done. Probably you have explained it somewhere else. If Jiddu Krishnamurti would have heard you he would have asked, if it was possible to stop the mind by trying to stop it. The very activity of trying to stop the mind would make the mind continue. Who is stopping the mind. Is there a muscle in the mind that will stop it. Even if you succeed to stop the mind, you will be more aware of your surroundings, your thoughts, your body sensations, your awareness, etc. What else will be achieved.
