About the last line in your story : I feel we should let kids understand that becoming independent is good at the same being polite and respectful is important . Nuvu inka avsram ledamma andedi is little rude . We have to teach to address properly . May be they can say “I’m so happy Amma I did it myself “ or “ thank you for inspiring me to do it by myself “ .. we should always teach children to respect parents

Hi Sravani garu... what you said is true... but in the story, that kid is too young to understand words like respect. He didnt intent to be rude ....he also didn't mean that he doesn't need his mom in other things, he would have just expressed the experience cheerfully... he is a small kid... though it is a happy moment that he is able to handle without his mother... it is fraction of a second where emotion dominates logic to hear "I don't need you anymore" (that's what happened to me when I read the line).
