The main use I found with this item is pushing monsters down the mansion hole, eclipse cliffs, and the upper part of forest.

To many people say Doomfist sucks but yeah of the items it's the worst.. But it's still VERY useful like saving your life one time I was the last player in oni's mansion and an mx hit me (when he hits he kinda gets stunned) so when I hit him down the hole I won

The ONLY reason why I don’t use doom fist is because monsters with grab moves (EXE, Nilo) projectiles (forest king, wyst) and even FOGBORN, can completely counter the item as a whole. Grab moves can easily punish gauntlet. FK/wyst can use their projectiles while your in the charge up since your a sitting duck while using it, and because you need to aim doomfist gauntlet and need to hit the monster with it, it’s just a free foggy stare for fogborn. You’re better off just not using it at all, too risky.

I usually use doomfist when I know it's a good timing, like when i'm at 2 stamina and the monster is closing in. Only problem is when certain monsters just tank it like mx charging demise or other leaps and charges.

something i learned with the doomfist is that it actually gives you s, how did i learn that? i used it against a MX who was using charging demise and didn't get knockbacked so i just went through him (you will still receive the charging demise damage however)

As someone who is currently maining MX, yeah, that just kinda happens sometimes, regardless of items or player action. I've had people literally standing still and they didn't get knocked back by charging demise. Really sucks because it's the best way to level MX, but half the time, even when it hits, I lose the chase because the survivor went through me

Ngl tho, i managed to survive a round by using the doom gauntlet to knock back the monster 2 times when i was at low health. Im proud of myself for surviving that game seeing and using the doom gauntlet for the first time. I didn't know it existed lol.

@@Tapterek ah yes, "step back when trying to kill someone", they would need a godlike reaction time or future sense to he able to step back from a sudden attack, as i quickly used the guantlet and ran at the monster.

Most likely not, it’s probably the item, or you’re too reliant on it and end up getting killed. I advise to not be too dependent on it as it’s pretty situational.
