Tbh pcx is still very very good. People just aren't using him right. Spamming jump and only using final act for movement makes this character INSANE. You genuinely can't get away from a good pcx no matter what you do. It's impossible

Honestly man I'm dissapointed in blade for rushing this character, he was so anticipated and hyped up, only to be a dissapointing mess with the constant nerfs, "reworks" and "buffs" he was already fine with his reworked found you. We didn't need a final act rework, it doesn't need to be engaging its literally a move to punish survivors for poor stamina management AND punish the monster for using it too early, it was fair and it stays true to his original sonic.exe counterpart. You also had variety with final by just using it as a movement option instead of taking them to your world which really made me enjoy PCX and made him more engaging to me as a monster. I'm just really dissapointed to see the community in shambles and the reputation of pillar chase 2 possibly getting worst, because I love the game and I don't want to see such negative backlash towards a game I love to play but the criticisms are valid tho. I do wish PCX released before or after the XMAS with his own seperate update with his own map like the other monsters, It would've helped blade finish and iron out his kit whilst also finishing the skins promised to us, but he bit more than he can chew with this one focusing on 2 REWORKS and an entire xmas event whilst also realising a new monster. It's too ambitious for blade because he's the only scripter and he can't do that in time without several issues occuring. I hope blade learns from this experience, and to not promise such big updates and a release date when 80% of the content isn't even finished 🙏 I don't mean to be harsh or rude to blade, he worked really hard and on the update, but it could honestly go more smoother with seperate updates and ACTUAL TESTING for PCX instead of rosemary to iron out his bugs and balance issues. This would spark less backlash towards the game and blade himself. I'm sorry for the huge rant and I appreciate anyone who read it, I do wish blade the best and to take a break from development for awhile before he works on Jeff, but honestly it would've been cool if pcx got his own update instead of sharing it with a xmas event.

Honestly i agree with you, i was so excited to play him, when the first day he was released, he was actually so fun to play, but then there comes reworks, nerfs. I was getting disappointed because why give him nerfs? I mean its LITERALLY Sonic.EXE, he’s supposed to be that strong and stuff with abilities. Reworked found you is good in my opinion. I dont like the reworked final act, it’s so stupid.. like who EVEN asked for this. its not VERY true to his character in the original MY5TCrimson’s Sonic.EXE 2012 game. Worse of all, he has this reworked Jump ability, which is honestly so dumb. Nobody, i MEAN no ONE asked for this goddamn reworked.

I guess he saw how most survivors died in final act and decided to completely destroy it. At this point just get rid of it, because it's so time consuming. And it's wayy buggy. Ive seen so many people get stuck on the obstacles as exe and get launched back on the springs. Final act was already a 50/50 strategic move knowing that it takes time to kill the player or if the player escapes. It was both punishing for both monster and survivor In my opinion bring back old final act but give the Survivor 20 stamina or something when teleported so it can be balanced.

I do agree he was rushed a lot, but honestly, what confuses me the most is blade himself. It has already been confirmed that Jeff was already far, far closer to being finished than PCX. So why did he make a vote on who should be next, even though it's clearly Jeff should've been the Christmas update, and PCX would be down the line. I can't say this is entirely his fault, though, because the community and discord have been absolutely terrible to blade later through PCX's development and the amount of changes PCX got what BECAUSE of multiple people complaining about him.

I'm not happy with the changes blade made to final act and now i'll cry about it in the comment section since at least one person will agree with me or understand me. (i hope so) First of all, let's take a look at the released, untouched iteration of final act. You go forward, you sent them to your world, adds what, 20 seconds to the timer, which i'd say is a fair amount since that chase takes what 10-15 seconds. If you hit does 60 damage if i remember. Was a simple straight chase, faithful to the original exe creepypasta/games. Now let's look at the final chase we have now, i'm pretty sure the path is longer, there's now obstacles for the survivor AND pcx, it adds mere 4 seconds to the timer and if the person escapes, there goes 10 seconds of your timer. Now let's see why i personally hate the final act we have now. First off, we have the obvious loss and gain of time. I think it's dumb how much time you lose if you don't catch the player, plus, it doesn't even hit-kill if you do, it just does 60 damage. Which sure, hit-kill would be too much, but then don't overcomplicate the damn skill, blade. Second of all, the obstacles. Well, sure just holding forward wasn't the most fun thing ever and gave us pcx players a explosion of dopamine, but those obstacles just make everything more complicated than it should be. Pcx is fast, the fastest character in the game in fact. Now, if you played him on fazbear frights, you already know how well a fast character such as him does there. Yes, bumping into stuff. You bump and get stuck in the obstacles. Also, now, i know it's a game, BUT, why the heck would there be obstacles in your own domain?! Where's the sense in that?! You making your time killing the survivors harder? It's dumb, it's oh so dumb. And now for the last reason. Faithfulness to the original source. Now sure, it's pillar chase 2 exe, it's not exeller, X, 2011x, sark or any other, it's blade's own exe. But still, why make it so different? Blade is trying so much to "balance" and make stuff different that he's ruining it. Well, all of that said, yeah, i have one big skill issue with pcx too, and that probably invalidates like, 90% of my arguments. BUT, still, pcx was NOT as op was some people were crying and hyping it up to be. People simply didn't have experience against him, thus easily died, making them think he was too op and needed nerfs asap.

@@savior-e4i i wouldn't say it is useless, sure, if you are a good, experienced player you won't even need it and you'll think it would be better replaced, but it's major speed boost without even using stamina is still a really good tool in pcx's kit, specially for not so good players

I feel like a way to fix it would be make it the opposite of what it is right now: Instead of a clone of yourself taking your place in the main map, it spawns in the final act map, and directly copies the survivor's moves, although very delayed. So that while the survivor is occupied in final act, you still get to stay in the main map and potentially target someone else. Maybe there can also be an ability to teleport to the final act map, similairly to Samsonite, and it would replace the clone like how it does currently.

@skull8062 Well the clone will exactly copy the survivor's moves, so they can't just sit still all the time. Also the clone will be faster than the survivor so they cant just avoid it by running in circles.

Tbh the benefits on release were good. Added a lot of time to the clock because well... the chase is long but when its not much you basically waste time. Current benefits aren't enough to fully be worth it. I basically see lot of people not use it for its intended purpose but just for mobility. That's just shows it fell a bit.

pcx needs a whole rework, let me explain. First is the fact you cannot escape him i mean cmon 32 sprint speed and 2 chasing abilitys that are too fast and even if you escape him "found you" exists! And i think found you should be reworked to its old version cause the fact its a reskin of one of fogborns abilitys and adds 8 seconds to the timer is uh a bit annoying cause it adds as much time as killing someone! And final act needs to add way more time like it used to, its NOT worth the case at all!

I think pcx is still easily and A to S tier killer. He has INSANE pressure in chase. If you spam jump, use final act purely for movement and use found you when low on stamina to recover all of it then survivors genuinely CANT get away from you. Just because hes a STRONG character doesnt mean hes a GOOD character. The fact that the most optimal way to play him is to use one of his moves (final act) purely for movement and not for its intended use is a shame and i hope Blade can find a way to make it more worth while to actually use final act for its intended purpose.

For me final act is useful for mobility when i am with low stamina, i don't touch somebody with final act unless they are the last survivor because the time waste is BIG. well at least blade reworked PCX with a ghost that does 10 of damage 😮‍💨.

I think it could be useful if you use final act only on toxic pro survivors, cause each time the taunt you mid chase you can use Final Act to catch up to them immediately and send them to My World, and they probably wont have enough stamina to even get to the ring, either that or use it for kills only for the last 3 or 4 survivors.

Final Act and how is it useful 1 is useful for catching up to players while you get more stamina and the players get less stamina because they are running from you 2 once you send them to your domain there is a shadow guy outside of your domain that attacks the players outside 3 once the player is low like 3 hits and they are dead you can use Final Act to kill the player instantly and get more time on the clock
