I don't understand why the forest map is so dark for the monster, it's supposed to have better vision than the survivor but the trees are not visible.

So a little tip with mimic, his highlight ability doesn’t automatically highlight all players on the map but instead highlights the players that are closer to him in the direction the character itself is facing not the player. It can still go through walls tho so you can just wait till your stamina starts to drop and then use the ability while spinning around so you can highlight everyone around you.
