I had 2 albums and an EP, and they were right up there with Skillet and Red as far as I was concerned, though they never quite got as famous as the aforementioned. I sort of ran away from guitar there for a while. In some ways I walked away from God. Though it has been bands like this and my memories of my teenage years that brought me back. The musicians who told me my primary instrument was guitar have been correct. I just did not want to admit to it. I found EDM a lot of fun. Still do, but I know now that I should have stuck with this.

When you walk outside and you see people of all races and beliefs living together in peace, it is easy to take the peace for granted. If you spend the day listening to CNN, FoxNews and MSNBC.... you would think that every white person was in the klan, every black person was a gang member .... that every Jew and Muslim were caving in each others skulls. etc etc.... I would put it to you that religion is one of the things of war, at the same time a greater source of tolerance.

Jesus did not say "go and spread the Word by force." He said "By this all men will know you as my disciples, if you have love one another." (John 13:35) I apologize for all the other Christians that don't show that love to you and just use harsh words against you.

We've got to lead the way! Everybody with your fist raised high Let me hear your battle cry tonight Stand beside or step aside From the frontlines (x2) Everybody with your fist raised high (stand aside) We're on the frontlines Everybody with your fist raised high Let me hear your battle cry Everybody with your fist raised high Let me hear your battle cry tonight Stand beside or step aside From the frontlines

Honestly, if you haven’t been abused, you can only partially relate to Korn, Disturbed, Slipknot, Nonpoint, Mudvayne, Goddmack, etc.. I don’t mean that in a condescending way. I simply mean count your blessings,. If you find yourself in the depths of these artists, not joking, seek God. I know that’s the antithesis of what’s here, but I 💯promise you that a life lived through Christ is going to be the most fulfilling thing you have ever done in your life!! And if you find that the world hates you even more..”Remember that the world hated me first.” -Jesus Christ

@abc7844 жыл бұрын
Read Isaiah chapter 40 at least once a day. After a while, the truth will penetrate. Also read Romans 6 through 8. Remember to come to him in the affliction instead of waiting until things get better. Come to me all you who ARE weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest. Blessed are the poor in spirit for they shall be comforted. He prepares a table before me in the presence of my enemies. The Prodigal Son came home in his affliction, not waiting until he got better. He also came home not expecting much but when he arrived, there was the celebration. The affliction gives God something to work with. "He gives power to the faint and to those who have no might, He increases strength" "My grace is sufficient for My strength is made perfect in weakness" The following is from a devotional written as though it's Jesus talking... "Bring me all your feelings, even the ones you wish you didn't have. Fear and anxiety still plague you. Feelings per se are not sinful, but they can be temptations to sin. Blazing missiles of fear fly at you day and night. These attacks from the evil one come at you relentlessly. Use your Shield of Faith to extinguish those flaming arrows. Affirm your trust in Me regardless of how you feel. If you persist, your feelings will eventually fall in line with your faith. Do not hide your fear or pretend it isn't there. Anxiety that you hide in the recesses of your heart will give birth to fear of fear. Bring your anxieties out into the light of My presence, where we can deal with them together. Concentrate on trusting me, and fearfulness will gradually lose its foothold within you" Ephesians 6:16 1 John 1:5-7 Isaiah 12:2 👍😃❤👍😃❤👍😃❤👍

Red Martin There's no reason why I should let them, that's just dumb. Really? You're going to pray for an atheist? do you not see how stupid that is? They should lay off especially when we tell them to not do so, all they'll be doing is pray to a wall. Instead of people saying they'll 'pray' to us, saying that you're in my thoughts would be x10 better, especially if were in a bad mood or if we just lost a loved one.

Guy Dion First off I just wanna say, "WELCOME TO THE INTERNET!" There is bound to be something to upset someone but you trying to force someone to not pray for you because you're an Atheist would be the same them saying they are praying for you except which one is actually forcing the other to bend to someone's will? You are trying to force someone who believes strongly in praying for people who do not believe in God which could be just about anyone not just Atheist. Secondly, is it really hurting you that badly from what they said, I mean did they harm you physically are attack your beliefs? No they didn't so I think it will be okay of course if you need a doctor I am pretty sure we have nothing for being a pussy in the medical area of course I am sure they will be able to work with you.

i understand sometimes it feels good to just let loose with it dont worry about it. this is true that he ignored the temptations but they said this was what made him imperfect and just as human as one of us to show us that it was possible and you can beat those temptations

It's not like I'm walking alone into the valley of the shadow of death Stand beside one another, 'cause it ain't over yet I'd be willing to bet that if we don't back down You and I will be the ones that are holding the Crown in the end When it's over, we can say, "Well done" But not yet, 'cause it's only begun So, pick up, and follow me, we're the only ones To fight this thing, until we've won We drive on and don't look back It doesn't mean we can't learn from our past All the things that we mighta done wrong We could've been doing this all along Everybody, with your fists raised high Let me hear your battle cry tonight Stand beside, or step aside We're on the frontline And we'll be carrying on, until the day it doesn't matter anymore Step aside, you forgot what this is for We fight to live, we live to fight And tonight, you'll hear my battle cry We live our lives on the frontlines We're not afraid of the fast times These days have opened up my eyes And now, I see where the threat lies We've got to lead the way
