I am with a younger man but my my my he is in charge. His maturity makes me feel weak and he has a way of disciplining me and and am constantly in awe of how God has blessed me. We are so happy and I respect him and serve him with love. I have a good job and earn more but he prefers to give me a monthly domestics as we call it. And the best part is we are Christians so it work depending on your perception of it all.

Well said! I like your logic. You aren't being prejudiced against the idea, but, offered real issues that can affect compatibility (for any couple). I agree that if a couple is too far apart in any major aspect of life including intellectual, spiritual, emotional, social etc. then there are major obstacles that will eventually be very likely to cause compatibility problems to arise. If it's only a sexual thing, then that's entirely different. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Sometimes things just don't work out, 5 years is not much of a gap for you not to have anything in common with a guy. Say there was a huge gap between the two of you, you talked about difference in generations of music and other things, don't you think the same would apply for an old man with a younger woman? This age thing is nothing but a social construct, its a control thing. Since men in most societies are head of the family they feel more comfortable to have a younger woman who they can control. Which is why older generations of men struggled with women having careers, it posed a challenge to their authority as they held more influence in the home as breadwinners.
