Literally all the independent and educated women I know are married. I'm engaged to a biologist myself. Women who end up old and single despite wanting to get married end up like that because they have serious personality flaws, not because they are independent women. Or because they have unrealistically high standards for men and an unrealistic view of themselves.. like expecting to marry a very handsome and wealthy man when they are average (this goes for a lot of men too btw). Being independent and getting married are not mutually exclusive at all. Especially these days, when a lot of boys and young men leave behind an attitude like yours and easily accept young women who have a more independent mindset and an actual personality. If a person can't get married despite wanting that, the problem is, in most cases, with themselves, and they should just take a good look at themselves before criticizing the opposite gender. Though life is SO MUCH MORE than getting married anyway, or it should be. I only knew ONE man who couldn't get married, and he was a loser through and through, who destroyed his own life with bad choices.
