Such an underrated movie, the director did a really good job and I was surprised this was his first movie and I hope he does more movies and I cant wait to see his films in the future. I watched this movie in theaters and it was awesome. All the songs in Jil Jung Juk are awesome. I watched this movie because I loved the trailer, the songs, and mainly because of Siddharth and Sananth. I like Sananth from his short film Madhu in Benchtalkies.

What a brilliantly made pilot film. You had superb shot divisions in this, where a close up and wide should be with low key lighting but it was missed in the feature. Also when sid did, it had lost quite a bit of authenticity of the character. The way he understood the scene were a bit casual whereas here the main protagonist has a fear when he confronts the villain. I still liked Jill Jung juk for how it was made but this one is way above than the feature. You're excellent but stick to your decisions. Cheers. All the best for your next. Wish you well.

#J3PILOT I’m comparing it with SNATCH within myself because I saw your promotions and I feel it as a benchmark for black comedies and that film worked for me (big time). And I’m only talking about the pilot version. First let me go through the characters. JIL - The Guy Ritchie narrator or generally the black comic narrator, but talks too much, also like he always talk too much. But I feel usually the narrator’s strength is they look silent but talks too much to the audience. JUNG - Also looks typical silent guy Ritchie sidekick but he feels only like Kanna Ravi (Of course he is HIM but I think you can understand what I mean). JUG - A typical black comedy guy of Tamil movies. In Hollywood or in the best black comedies, the thing is they knew the most but not the stuff that’s necessary. He just feels so dumb. MANGALAM. - Feels like Santhanam’s drunk voice. For this futuristic movie, the Kudhugala Kumbala item and the Ervamatin comedy feels too old and lazy. ATTACK - Perfect casting, we can feel his dark humorous evilness, Just lit. NARASIMHAN - Awesome Casting. PAI - Great. So, my review or commentary or more like my expression of what I feel when watching it (Orderly, both what that worked and what that’s not). ‘Nammalanda irukka 6 gundu’ feels too forced and time consuming. Language feels like Standup comedian’s Madras Tamil. Uganda’s echo (Urulakelangu Bonda sapta mari dhan irukku) feels over blown. Also, sometimes, only sometimes music feels stuffed. Attack feels tailor made, that sudden deadpan look to laughter at Uganda comedy is masterclass. He imitates Vito Corleone but funny. Pulli vechu kodu poduvanga, aana neenga indha kodu vechu periya pulli ayidalam is just Lit. Attack’s place aesthetics, framings… Woahhh. Kaala thooku, Evlo aachu is great (But it feels like poor man’s Vijay Sethupathi). Cycle scene looks great as a plan but not funny as it feels when planed (But the urinating scene is funny just not worth a scene). That Pai calling Attack scene is engaging even after watching the movie, knowing what happened. Faster, faster - Haan… Cumming, Cumming scene is Awesome. Attending the call scene is really worth the wait. Technically good, looks rich, good sounds, nice cinematography, well graded and it really looks dystopian. And frankly I feel I’m doing all these just to please you. But I think this way of analysis makes me view even my script in a different perspective. as a new try concept fan, I like JilJung Jug but surprise factors are more conveyed in a short time. The Grippy and long screenplay texture was missing in the feature film. I loved the opening of the movie first 20 min was a goosebump engaging part in the movie. movie touch the slow pace from smuggling the car scene. Its the scene of explaining about the attitude of the three characters and time to tell the characters who going to drive the movie further, and tell about the character who going come on climax as an "element of surprise". Heroine scenes(kalak kalak nu kalakavum) are seem to be childish which makes me drive out of the movie serious mood. A creator cant be different in all place and funny in an intensed scenes. Someplace story has to be conveyed, someplace characters brief and emotions, character elevation of the scene all these stuff connected in you fucking style of screenplay pattern would have to make the wholesome content to fall in love forever. BUt your feature film is 100 times enhanced from this short film. Jug character is a big annoying character in the movie may be would have designed that character in some other feel. Even in this short film also I irritated with his overacting. Pl come as engaging and peculiar storytelling director like DEERAJ VAIDY. I don't want to compare your direction with anyone. You may have an Inspiration but you have different taste but try to give it as a full tasty meal to max people not like a side dish. Opening Scenes, Clock Scenes, ",.!" Scene style, Intense dialogues, are my favorites. " YOU ARE UNIQUE DEERAJ VAIDY"
