Jann Ily What's amazing is that you haven't lost it (or someone stole it) in 3 years. Since your comment is 3 years ago and assuming you still have it, you have it for 6 years. Which is amazing asf. Most of my G-TECs got lost (mostly stolen when someone picks it up at school) after 4 or 5 months lol. I'll try not to lose these 2 that I have right now.

7 years here. I have the one since faculty days. It works flawlessly. Bought chinese replica recently. Mechanism broke after 30 days.

One of my favorite pens, but I think the greatest advantage g-tec has among other gel pens is that it lasts the longest. I journal with it everyday, along with using it with my school notes but it still lasts me 6 months or more. Unlike most gel pens which only lasts for about a month or two if you use it everyday.

This is my absolute favorite. I love the casing and find it more comfortable than the annoying rubber grip pens, which usually create an uncomfortable width between my fingers, tiring them too soon. And although you say it is not smooth, I love the tactile feedback I get from writing with this pen. It feels sharp, and I really don't like a pen that is too 'smooth,' because it makes me feel less in control of the line (slippery, like a ballpoint). If you're looking for the best control, I can't think of anything better. My only issue--and it is a big issue--is that many of my pens stop working altogether, sometimes after only a few initial strokes. I first thought the reservoir was getting plugged by the fibers of my paper, but now I'm wondering if the ink just gets too viscous in the reservoir. If there is some kind of solvent I can test this with, I'd love to hear about it!

I just discovered this pen. OMG, it is the perfect pen for LEFTYS! Most ink pens tend to smear for left handed writers. It smears on the paper and on the heel of a left handed person's hand. This pen does neither. Fantastic.

I have a small problem... I was walking down the street to buy some paper and since ths store is nearby I bought my two gtec c3's and it fell and now it gives to much ink when writing or drawing

The cap is so fragile though I didn't fell it on the ground it forms a crack on its cap! Since highschool it's already my problem with that pen. Up until now I'm still using the same variety of pen but I'm hoping that Pilot would do a better job of making pens w/c are less fragile! Overall I like the pen just the cap is sort of a problem.

I really love it, but they have a problem. They clog so easy that I can not use it. So I bought more than 5 dozen trying to find one that does not clog. No matter it is black or blue it clogs. I use it because I have to complete mega small forms. Only the .25 is the one can used. So, how can I use to aboid cloggin? If anybody know how, please tell me.

Those good days when I could find this pen in every store now I have to order it online. I like it for my exams and notes taking at university. I always get 0.3 so I can make the smallest letter at exams (always run out of space) XD.

I need help. I love this pens but somehow they stop writing almost still full it I heard that it happens frequently... so maybe someone knows how to fix it. I don't understand why some of them just stop writing.

Ok, so first remove the ink thingy first then put the nib facing downwards. Then hold the ink thingy with both of your palms then do a reverse motion (by raising the left hand going to you then the right hand going against you). Continus doing it until it is warm enough then try to bend the ink thing a little then test it. If it didnt work then buy another refill

Come on this review is biased. The pen is very scratchy on paper and we should admit that and say so directly. You can’t say there are many other options if you’re looking for a non-scratchy pen. I also expect the pen to start writing smoothly on paper immediately, not get a smooth flowing ink after writing on paper for “an hour or so”. Other then that, a plus point that was not mentioned is that this pen lasts very long, mainly because of the fine nip, high quality ink and relatively large refill capacity. This pen is excellent for the student community (good price-quality ratio), but not ideal for artists and those looking to practice their calligraphy. Overall rating: 7/10. (Minus 3: 1, the grip is not comfortable, 2, scratchy on paper, 3, takes warmup time to get a smooth flowing ink) Cheers!
