Great podcast. Got a few queries too. What type of salaries do CFI’s make in India? Like, freshers to seasoned! Also, how’s general aviation in India? What are the types of jobs out there? Are they all as good and stable as the salary of airline pilots? Why is GA not as estd as in other countries here in India? Or correct me if I’m wrong!

Hello Pilots I have a doubt, I am planning to do my CPL from the US (conventional way) and as I was searching for a school I came to understand that some of the aircrafts used by these schools are not approved by the DGCA. So the problem is, while converting the license there will be compliance issues. Is this true? If so what aircrafts should i avoid, is Piper PA-44 Seminole approved by DGCA, because this is a common aircraft used by American schools. Also, some versions of C172 are also not approved by DGCA like those with 6 pack cockpit. I understand that DA40s and DA42s are used by schools in India, but i can't find a school in US with that fleet. Idk if these are true, can anyone guide me on this, thank you.

Does middle eastern airlines hire s junior first officer right after the rating or first officer at a certain flying hours , it accepts dgca or faa license pilots ?

Usually Middle East airlines recruit Indian Pilots with after ATPL.
