It's true AS perhaps don't have the best safety record, but they also operate in some of the worlds most challenging environments. Mountainous terrain, airports at high elevation as well as changeable tropical weather conditions, so huge amount of respect must go to these pilots.

@@HartsfieldSpotting Why do you say they were “risking their lives “ ?
@noneofyourbusiness50743 ай бұрын
@@WT-Sherman cuz AeroSucre is notoriously known for flying overweight, thus decreasing the aircraft performance, there are videos on the internet showing them barely off the ground after take off roll, almost crashing into the airport fences!!! so he said that meaning the company does not have a positive safety record from what we see on the internet!!!
@WT-Sherman2 ай бұрын
@@noneofyourbusiness5074 I wouldn’t think the Captain knowingly does takeoffs with an overweight aircraft. If he does, it’s his own fault.
@noneofyourbusiness50742 ай бұрын
@@WT-Sherman Yes they do, because the aircraft is perfectly capable of flying with more weight than what is specified by the manafucturer IF EVERYTHING WORKS PROPERLY however in order to certify an aircraft the plane manufucturer has to prove the aircraft can meet the standards created by the authorities (regulators) with only one engine working (for twin planes) or two engines (for tri jets), if you have an engine flameout on take off, your plane will still climb out, so with all engines working, it climbs out much faster, thus the operator flying overweight WISHING nothing goes wrong!!!

Looks like this AeroSucre crew took into consideration the extra weight of the cameraman and recording equipment just enough for a safe takeoff with “lots” of runway left. Congrats gentlemen!

If you look closely, during the takeoff roll he bumps up 2 & 3 above their EPR limits... #1 was already running hot if you check the EGT dials. He pulls it back because the EGT was approaching the limit. This is actually very scary to see.
