Moments before the touch on the runway, was possible to observe that the captain was a little tense, he was prepared to assume the controls, like a flight instructor. Nice video gays, it is really a motivational video.

Not an issue just wondering why you upload these videos sometimes up to 3 years after they were recorded?

I see this with a lot of channels. I believe, up until recently, there were very strict rules about what length of videos certain types of channels could upload. I.e. a “hobby” channel (or whatever category) might have been restricted to 5 minutes, hypothetically. Since the change, they have large backlogs of videos they previously had to be uploaded in bits that they can now upload whole.

I expected ATC to have more of an accent. Sounded like an American controller, followed by a British controller. Interesting. Great video!

I get annoyed by those people who still claim that Ethiopian had bad pilots hence the Max crash , yet here we can see that they've been operating a more complex aircraft like this A350 for a couple of years with no accidents.

Acher vice there are actually people (some that I know) that LOOOVVEE Boeing so much that they believe they are not at fault and they blame the pilots for not recovering the plane

@@everythingdark520 The aircraft has serious flaws but the crew WERE at fault. They could have recovered the plane. Both manufacturer and crew made mistakes.

Looks like he landed way left of the centre line and the captain got a little tense just before touchdown looks like he was going to take control of the aircraft

That’s an optical illusion based on the camera angle, he was on the center line.

B M I’m a real pilot typed on several Boeing aircraft and also enjoy playing flight sims. It’s not hard to see he tracked back to the right after touchdown. Not much and certainly within criteria of a normal safe landing. 👍🏽

Yikes. Ethiopians didn't comply with instruction to tell TRACON that they were clear for "shortcuts" per ATC.

What do you mean 'yikes'? They were given direct vectors for the final approach as soon as communications were established, there was no need to pass on the 'shortcuts' message. They already had the shortest cut.

@@lostmoon77 I have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. The first controller, as a courtesy, told them that they could expect no more restrictions and that the next controller was free to give them shortcuts; this was not an instruction. The crew acknowledged this with a thank you. They then established contact with the next controller, and as soon as he had their details, he cleared them direct to the final approach. Had this not happened, then the crew might have said "also, the last controller told us that we are released for shortcuts". As it was, there was no point, because they were already immediately given the shortest route. Everyone did their jobs perfectly here.

ATC said to tell the next controller about shortcuts. The pilots replied, Roger, but they didn't tell the next ATC about the shortcuts. So, Ethiopian didn't comply.

@@lostmoon77 Oh my God. Will you do the basic courtesy of reading what I've written before you type out another besides-the-point response? Again. It was NOT an instruction. "You may inform them...." You MAY, i.e. "if you want." This was a courtesy: he was saying, "if you want to get a shortcut, tell the next controller that I said it was fine." They then contacted the next controller, and before the Ethiopian crew had a chance to pass on the message about shortcuts, they were given a DIRECT routing. You can't shortcut a direct routing. There was nothing to "comply" with because it wasn't an instruction, and there was no point in "complying" because the next controller immediately gave them a direct routing! What would they have gained through asking for a shortcut? Access to the secret Dubai Approach wormhole?
