PRS made a gradual journey from a more cynical place in his early work (garfielf, Quaker's Oats etc.) to the celebration of the beauty and absurdity of life that his new output (the Percy arc on PilotRedSky) represents. "Achievement" represented a turning point in his worldview, and he turned his identification of noumena to positive use. He's one of my favourite creators, not just on KZbin but of all time. (It's also interesting to note the morphology in his predation motifs - a bug running forever from a flyswatter, a giant weasel rounding on a tiny vole, a rabbit making a surreal and lightheartedly depicted stand against a wolf, a snake fighting a weasel, and finally, a bunny simply being surprised by a crab in a bucket while building a sandcastle.)

funny animals IS a pretty nice track. also a personal favorite of mine, because it gives me memories of that time when i stayed up a whooole night just to hear some barred owls hoot as if they were actual people. it's beautiful and gives you either nostalgia for things you've seen people experience or nostalgia for even the most simplest things that have ever happened to you. i have a special playlist "to play in the dark" if you know what i am talking about , and pilotredsun's music takes like 30% out of it :)) i put it on random everytime to see what experience i would have this time, and random numbers do their magic - pilotredsuns music always build a wonderful sequence that is very harmonical with other songs! like psychic tv or coil it isnt supposed to work this way, but it does. I dont believe in mysticism, but our thought can influence random number generations for sure

PRS songs since about 2018 have been my choice of music for a ton of things. For a good latter part of 2019 I mostly listened to his music since it just scratched an itch of instrumentals ive been craving for a while. Where the music does the talking and your allowed to just make of the song what you will. Theres no set in stone meaning its just good tunes made by a person with a lot of talent. This is weirdly a rarity and im glad its occasionally filled. I stumbled across his music at a time when i was rather stressed with wrapping up college and the prospect of finding a job, and while the stress has been replaced with newer ones, i thank PRS for making me music that helped me get through some shit that i thought i wouldnt get through. Bless you man, Godspeed whatever you end up doing next.
