Pilots Watch for less than a FIFTY?! Corgeut CM04 Review

It's back to the homage's this week, as your host DK takes a look at the first pilot watch we've had on the channel, the Corgeut CM04.
This watch borrows heavily (or flat out steals!) from the looks of a more famous IWC watch, but is this mechanical watch worth picking up? You'll have to "watch" to find out...

It is nice but strap is rascal. Also, mine still winds but it now makes a grinding sound...

Seems like a pretty cool flieger. I know that fliegers are supposed to be big, unfortunately with my wrists a watch like this would look ridiculous on me lol. Too bad, the value seems great.

It's as big as I would go as well, just about fits my 7 inch wrist so if yours are smaller than 7 maybe look for a 42mm flieger/pilot watch

@@TheWatchtowerWatchReviews Yeah, 42mm is definitely better for me but lug to lug size is also important. My SKX007 and Flightmaster both have short L2L sizes (which Seiko does really well), and fit me fine.

Very true, L2L can make a small dialled watch look cartoonish.

I picked up a sterile Flieger Type B with the same movement and it has been fantastic - accurate, great power reserve and a good looking movement -the only drawback is the weak lume on the dial which seems endemic to most homages.

I have a corvette fleiger type A 42mm. It has a straight side crown and a display back that shows an ugly gold movement. The strap mine came with was the same “leather” but did not have the taper like this one. Same hands. Put it on a stainless steel band it is one of my favorites. I love the no date automatic watches.

This really is a beautiful watch. Do you think this would be great for someone new to mechanical wound watches? I mean if one could tell if it is being overwound or not. Also do you have any video showing how you regulate it?

Hi, it is a nice watch, however, it is possible to overwind them. If you want a mechanical wind watch to learn about them, I'd suggest a cheap Vostok Komandirskie, you can get one for about €25. No video of regulating, I can send you a picture of you like?

How long does the power reserve last

Oh, I don't know, I don't have the watch anymore, I think it was about 36-38 hours but I can't be sure
