I was able to take up an Airbus H130 Helicopter from Heliworks in Queenstown New Zealand to see some of the worlds best scenery. This was bar none one of my top best flights I've done. So many incredible things to see. If you want some aerial views of the glaciers, lakes, mountains, Milford Sounds, and much more then make sure you check this video out.

Lake Quill, Sutherland Falls... Mount Balloon, the Quintin Valley... Lake Ada... The last time I saw them, I was probably 18! Fifty-plus years has been just a blink! I wonder who recalls the "Torrent" jet boat, or was it the "Tempest"? The old tractor and those wonderful pack horses. Our boots were Anson D rings with tricounis for slippery tracks. Thank you for jogging some old memories...

Epic views, and so close to town and city centers, not long before you're amongst the most amazing scenery, almost like viewing lands never ventured if you let the imagination run rampant. Truly a spectacle for one's eyes, and every other sensory organ. Ending how this comment was started with a single word synonym'....'Epic'! ..... Grand Canyon ain't got nothin' on this view! heh heh. Cheers for sharing.

Wow! Stunning! Around 2007 I lived in New zealand for four years. Three of which in Queenstown. As a helicopter pilot myself, I always wanted to be able to work there. A few years later, I took my wife to visit the places I have lived in. As soon as we landed at Queenstown airport, I saw three helicopters flying, what seemed to be sightseen flights, the same job I used to do in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, flying around Christ the redeemer. Sometimes I see myself thinking "imagine if I could have worked there as a pilot?". These video was like a flight that I always wanted to do but never had the chance at the time. Thank you for that! It is trully amazing, just like I always imagined! Everything handmade by God!

What mostly barren, scruffy, arid country with no interesting or spectacular rock structures or features. The pilots makes it look easy but it is actually difficult and dangerous to fly around such terrain. Incredible rescues and cadaver-retrievals are made in the alps which is why are our pilots are the best in the world. Glad the people thought it was "paradise" but the alps need to be climbed to really see "paradise". To it at the top of a pass or peak with one leg in the west and the other in the east and see from Mt Aspiring to Aoraki to the Marlborough Sounds is truly spectacular.

Great video, yes Fiordland South Island of NZ is a very spectacular place but extremly ruggid and hostile, you certainly had the good fortune to strike an almost perfect day. I'm a kiwi growing up at Haast in the nineteen fifties and sixties, I lived there for 54 years before moving away, In my childhood years we were serviced with an Air service from Hokitika 300 kilometers up the coast by West Coast Airways , Aircraft types were two Dehavilid Rapids and a Cessna 180. Quite often after the service plane had arrived at Haast unloaded its passengers and freight it would fly on down to Milford Sound to carry out scenic flights arriving back at Haast late afternoon picking up any passengers , freight and mail bags. Milford sound is aproxamitly 120 kilometers down the coast from Haast. I have flown over and into Milford Sound several time, the last time I flew in the Fiordland area was 35 years ago with the late Dave Saxton in a C model Hughs 500. Long time ago now. You obviously have high hours and are very conversant with these helicopter types. Once again a great video and thanks for sharing, much appreciated indeed. Cheers from Al. Eye wateringly beautiful. Amazing to watch. My brother lives up the road in Wanaka. I’m longing to move back to NZ after fulfilling a fixed wing aviation career overseas in Europe and Middle East for the last 25 years. Always liked heli’s. Was trained in the military by a few heli pilots along the way. Chased fixed because of more opportunities, ultimately including airlines. Watched your honest video about becoming a heli pilot. Probably too late for me for anything serious but at least recreation is still a valid option. Maybe sweep some floors, be humble enough, build some relationships and get some ad-hoc work occasionally, who knows where it could lead. Life is too short to do it all, unfortunately but gotta keep the passion alive though.

I love your channel but the non-stop music was way too intrusive. The music volume was often drowning out your voice as well as the helicopter sounds. Personally, I think music is better used for intros and outros. Sadly, a lot of KZbinrs are now ruining videos with the overuse of music. Sorry, but I had to stop watching after 10 minutes and I'm somebody who has always watched your videos to the end.

100% Vid creators add on sick noise at the end of their projects at which time they are bored and want to move on. They are told that music is necessary for their Great Hollywood Epic. They have O understanding of volume, O comprehension of quality of human voice - soft , high pitch, accent + poor English language, VERY limited mental music library, Very narrow range physical music library Rely on Cheap on line music Mostly Free noise stuff repeat short bursts via AI Google trash Microphone placement - against a wall or PC in front of wall. Don't know about 'Dead Cat' over mic outdoors in a breeze. Age also affects choice. Lower the age lower the IQ? 2 good things = volume OFF. DUMP button

And I don't see the point of commenting on stuff you don't understand... Safety belts in helicopters and airplanes are not for surviving a crash. They're for surviving a rough landing or to stop you from flying around in the aircraft hurting yourself and others in case of turbulence. Even a planned negative g maneuver in a small aircraft will send you head first into the roof...

@@mattieclan8957 Scientists have finally managed to figure out how fish colonize new reservoirs, which are formed naturally or artificially. For many years, ichthyologists have assumed that fish eggs are brought by birds, for example, on their beaks or paws. But there has never been any confirmation of this theory. It turned out that birds are indeed a transport for fish eggs, but the method is quite extreme. Some eggs can survive in the intestines of fish. This is how new reservoirs are colonized
