Tbh it's gonna take that single blue feller a lot of shots... add in lightning fast reactions and ooooh boi. Then no overwatch too... yeah. Especially when that banshee is moving so damn quick it will be hard for the tau to even track. In game turns a banshee is moving 8+3.5+10 inches when charging on average. I'm not an eldar fan, hate them, tau were my first army, they aren't that great. If we are talking about a Skitarii Ranger, now we are cooking.

The only thing I remember is narrator from Dark Crusade, saying after Tau victory that it might, *might* be one of the reasons why Tau outpopulated humans so quickly after campaign was over. The main reason was one-gender education camps. And besides, said humans were the one's that rejected Tau and the Greater Good. They're lucky that Tau allowed them to live in the first place.

My favorite stories of the tau are when they fight space marines. For instance the tau were trying to set an ambush for space marine forces, and those stealth suits are damn good at hiding. Unfortunately the space marine chapter they were trying to ambush were the space wolves. So the space wolves literally sniffed them out thanks to the chemical smell their armor had. Its all fun and games until the forest starts speaking fenrisian. Fact check me on this one I remember reading it on the lexicon site but now I can't find it. Funny story though just like the drop pods in the damocles crusade.

I would like to know if a tau battle suit could pull the same shenanigans against a salamander or space wolf. A blast from his jets, and the commander shoulder-barged the second. The Space Marine was knocked back sprawling into the special weapons trooper behind. This time it was Bravestorm that sent plasma sizzling through the air, burning glowing holes into both of his adversaries. Lexicanum "An Onager Gauntlet is capable of crushing a Space Marine with one blow." Youd be in surprise. Crisis suits can take on a squad of spacemarines on their own.

@@thelardmaker6806 fair enough. I'm more then happy to argue that heavy infantry can take on what is essentially a dreadnought with more fire power. Mainly because 1) it takes a tau dreadnought to match imperial space marines. 2) I love the idea that a space marine with a power fist can bring one down. 3) I love the mental image of an unarmored tau inside the suit screaming in terror as a space marine rips the hatch off it. So yeah tau battle suits are scary, and I am immeasurably happy when they get ripped apart like 80% of the warhammer fan base is.

Fun fact: Around half of the Imperrium of man's vechicles and weapons are so advanced the Imperium doesn't know how to make them again (includes certain star ships lile the battle barge (?) ). So The T'au while not having the best star craft for any sc-fi faction in warhammer 40K do stand a chance against a small portion of the Imperium and can fight maybe a decent imperium fleet off but lossing a few worlds in the process

A black and red color scheme looks awesome on the tau if only the death company and tau could play together. Breacher teams with there energy shotguns and scout squads with astartes shotguns. Then the death company with jump pack drop pods inferno pistols and chainswords is just an awesome idea to me. Also devil fish and Valkyries in the air on the same side would just be the chef kiss to tie it all together.

Hello again Pilps!. I wanted to make a Collection on the Steam Workshop to honor your amazing videos on the game, Total War: Shogun II - The "Clan Name" Experience so people can easily start a game with the same mods as you do and have the amazing experience as you have show during these videos but for some reason some of them do not even load or show any sings of working when I launch the game after selecting them in the mod launcher. Some days when I load a saved game after they start working and then crash the whole game. Did you make any changes in the files so It could work? Did they work fine the whole time? Did you add any additional mods? I would like some answers so people don´t have any trouble while playing with the mods turned on.

for the most part, the fact that they don't have turrets like the heavy bolter turret in the base game makes defending a bit tough U can only build defenses on the listening posts
