Most of the yamaha sounds are soo reverb!!. Audya sounds are more natural. If you add a little of reverb to it will sounds way better than yamaha. By the way, yamaha "marketing" always was reverb and chorus, it seems that a lot of people get tricked.

*_ME DA MUCHA PENA PERO AHÍ ALTERARON LOS SONIDOS DE YAMAHA, ESOS ESTILOS NO TIENEN SUS SONIDOS ORIGINALES COMO LAS MEGA VOCES, ARTICULACIONES Y TODAS LAS BATERIAS LAS CAMBIARON POR LAS GM Y LA IDEA ES QUE DEJEN LOS RITMOS CON SUS SONIDOS AL NATURAL DONDE OBVIAMENTE LOS DE YAMAHA TENDRÍAN MUCHO PESO, YA QUE LOS SONIDOS GM SUENAN A COMPUTADOR, DONDE EN REALIDAD MUESTREN LOS RITMOS DE YAMAHA CON LOS SONIDOS CON LOS QUE FUERON HECHOS YAMAHA LE GANA A KETRÓN EN SONIDOS, ADEMÁS A KETRÓN LE SUBEN UN POCO MAS DE VOLUMEN Y LE METEN MAS BAJO, LO ALTERARON PARA QUE "SUENE MEJOR" LLEVO AÑOS SIENDO PRODUCTOR MUSICAL Y PROGRAMADOR DE TECLADOS Y CONOZCO MUY BIEN EL SONIDO DE YAMAHA. ADEMÁS RITMOS COMO EL DE LA CUMBIA ESTÁ MAL HECHO, POR LO MENOS EN YAMAHA NO UTILIZARON LA POP LATIN KIT, QUE TRAE TODO EL KIT COMPLETO DE PERCUSIÓN, POR ESO DIGO QUE ESTA COMPARACIÓN ES UNA PAYASADA. I'M VERY SORRY BUT THERE THEY ALTERED THE SOUNDS OF YAMAHA, THOSE STYLES DO NOT HAVE THEIR ORIGINAL SOUNDS LIKE THE MEGA VOICES, ARTICULATIONS AND ALL THE BATTERIES THEY CHANGED THEM FOR THE GM AND THE IDEA IS TO LEAVE THE RHYTHMS WITH THEIR SOUNDS TO THE NATURAL WHERE OBVIOUSLY THEY FROM YAMAHA WOULD HAVE A LOT OF WEIGHT, SINCE THE GM SOUNDS SOUND LIKE A COMPUTER, WHERE IN REALITY THEY SHOW THE RHYTHMS OF YAMAHA WITH THE SOUNDS WITH WHICH THEY WERE MADE YAMAHA BEATS KETRON IN SOUNDS, IN ADDITION TO KETRON THEY RAISE A LITTLE MORE VOLUME AND THEY PUT IT LOWER, THEY ALTERED IT TO "SOUND BETTER" I'VE BEEN A MUSIC PRODUCER AND KEYBOARD PROGRAMMER FOR YEARS AND I KNOW THE YAMAHA SOUND VERY WELL. ALSO RHYTHMS LIKE THE CUMBIA IS BADLY MADE, AT LEAST YAMAHA DID NOT USE THE POP LATIN KIT, WHICH BRINGS A COMPLETE PERCUSSION KIT, THAT'S WHY I SAY THIS COMPARISON IS A CLOWN_*

There is no comparison...Ketron is superior...Yamaha's processed sound, sounds good, but if the Ketron plays, and you close your eyes, it's like listening to a live band...

I agree with you, Ketron sounds more real and possibly Yamaha is sweeter, but my only intention was to make them both sound like playing General MIdi files without any editing. I think on both keyboards they can sound much better even with specifically made songs.

lo que observo y escucho es que tyros tiene mas procesador de efecto y ketron un poco mas natural pero en realidad los escucho muy parejos muy buena calidad ambos

A real comparison by playing the sounds and styles instead of midifiles would be much better. Midifiles indeed use GM sounds, not the internal ones, so this video does not means anything to me !

If you use the Live Drum REMIX on the Audya5, you will get even BETTER drums!! Combine that with assigning the Live Guitars to a 'chord' track of the midifile which will trigger the live guitar in real time ... now we are talking (it will be like controlling a Wave file/audio/music with midi!!

By far the KETRON does a much better presentation sound wise. The levels on the various parts are supremely clearer and we'll executed by those that loaned their skills to make it possible. He live trump's and bass are locked, the horns are very real as KETRON is using real instruments and artist.. Victor /rrggaeCABIN.. crosdFIRE

Ketronda sounds much different. I don't know, listening to a little orchestra with a bare ear. They sound very different, which is a very important nuance.
