French seams on a boxed bag - genius! Neat & tidy, plus it will give the bag more support to stand up on its own. A lot easier than binding, too. Although you do make binding look simple on the blue pouch, so maybe I just need to practice it more 🙂. The use of webbing for zipper tabs & handles adds a bit of texture/visual interest to the finished projects, and saves the time of making them out of scrap fabric. (I accidentally bought the wrong width of black webbing, and now I know what to use it for!) The brown bag is particularly nice; folds flat for storage, boxes up for when you want to use it. Lovely! Thank you for posting this compilation. It's nice having five different bags in one video. One can make gifts for multiple people without a) having to search a bunch of different videos and b) feeling like everyone is getting the exact same thing. Your presentation is excellent as well; it's easy to see what you are doing & how to do it, and you only show the actual sewing when it's necessary. I've saved this one to two playlists: gifts to make, and bags to sew.
