I just made a bag using this template. The only thing I did wrong was choosing the wrong materials. I used a heavy corduroy because that's what I had on hand. However, I could not recess the zipper (or topstitch) because the seams were too thick. I am a newbie at making bags and hadn't sewn for about 20 years and just getting back into sewing again. So I think I did pretty good. TY for sharing your pattern with us. Edit: This mistake actually turned out well. It gives me more room in the bag and it's the bag I grab while on my way out. :)

Clear instructions and such a beautiful tote. I love the fact this recessed zipper goes all the way to the edges of the sides. Most videos I've seen they're open a few cm from the sides.
