@Brothaman2k I'm not sure where the confusion of this being a Kessler sponsored show comes from. It says "brought to you by Kessler Crane" in the beginning, and we make references to Kessler being the one who pays the bills in a few episodes. haha. The point is not whether this is a Kessler show or not, of course it is, I thought that was obvious. The point is that the show is more than an ad. Whether you buy the gear or not, there is a lot of good info for the indie filmmaker to be had here.

@Kainthemain Well, you are wrong there for a few reasons. -1.) Kessler gave me full creative control...and 2.) I loved Kessler gear and considered them the best in the industry before I did this show. Otherwise I wouldn't be doing this. There's a lot of great info here for the indie filmmaker. Each episode goes into a type of gear and gives tips on how and why you use it. So It's sad that some of you will be blinded by the fact that we mention a specific brand instead just saying "a jib".

If I had to buy any of the Kessler gear shown in PYP, I would definitely get the slider. It works as a dolly/slider and crane/jib. For 500 bucks, this is definitely the best product!

Ryan thanks for this - I'm so tired of using my DIY gear and spending more time fixing my gear then actually shooting. Great vids! I have the Canon D60 which I purchased to have the ability to shoot videos. my problem is that I cannot figure out if it has auto focus. Can you halp with some general hand shooting settings that will allow me to shoot up close and far away without having to manually focus?

You've got all the jazzy music and colors shooting all over the place with "PIMP YOUR PRODUCTION!!!!" flashing on the screen.... and then, in tiny type about 1/8th the size of the title it says something about Kessler. I think we both know where my/the audience's eyes were meant to go and it wasn't to the tiny type underneath. It comes off like you're trying to hide it... especially since I (and plenty of others obviously) didn't even notice it until you pointed it out.

@filmriot No, the confusion is on you. Did it not occur to you that if you dropped the same company's name for 4 episodes in a row people might get the idea they're a paid sponsor? We're not dense, we know (or at least assume we know) when we're getting the hard sell from somebody. Vary the products and the brands and the doubt will go away. If they are paid sponsors then SAY SO. Be up front and let us know from teh beginning. We see you use the stuff, it looks good. Just be upfront about it.
