I use to watch you like all the time back in the day. As a kid you actually made me want to pursue makeup and design as my major, I don’t really do anything anymore as my work is very different “computers and junk” but i wanted to say thank you for doing what you do and sharing this talent you have. Hey there! Thanks so much for your message! If I'm not mistaken, I believe that's how they did it in the first couple of Hellraiser films :) I remember reading an article about Clive Barker and Gary Tunnicliffe (Main Makeup Artist on Doug Bradley) I'm not sure why I didn't use that method for this tutorial... There must have been a reason.. Hmm... Nevermind! Silly me xD Thanks so much for sharing the method though hun! I'm sure others will can use it! :D xXx

Hi there! Thank you! :) I get my costumes/props etc from several places, alot of the stuff I make myself though, the Beetlejuice costume I bought in Argos in the UK and just cut it up and made it so that it fit me perfectly, I also made it look dirty by dying it several different colours and gluing the embossing powder on it :) The Pin Head coat I actually got a few years ago when I was in the states from Hot Topic :) I hope this helps! :D xXx

I believe that was the method used by Gary Tunnicliffe who originally applied the Pin Head makeup on Doug Bradley (amazing man), so very well done! Due to time restrictions and my eagerness to experiment I just decided to go with nails to see if it could be done :) It's a shame about the sagging but at least that way they are safe! Hehe, thanks for your input! If I ever do a Pin Head 2 i'll absolutely give that method a try! Mwah xXx

I grew up on the Hell Raiser movies and I gotta say, you did awesome work! When I was 3 years old I would say "Hell Raiser is my friend" at the grocery store.

Try using tacking nail they have a head on them for hammering, those would stay upright better, more of a base to them.
