So I enjoyed watching you select the frame for your new glasses. You were first looking for a frame that came with a magnetic sunglass clip and then you decided to get glasses with transition lenses. I am very curious how they are working for you with driving on a sunny day? I was an optician before retiring and quite a few patients that got transitions were at least somewhat disappointed when driving that their glasses didn't really darken enough to be considered as sunglasses. A few even returned them and then purchased prescription sunglasses. I hope you don't mind me asking you a question that has always interested me. I had quite a few Asian patients and I was amazed at how many young Asian women wear glasses. A few young Asian men were patients. Those young ladies all were nearsighted with rather weak prescriptions. Do you have any reason for that? Are young Asian women doing something different then young males to cause them to become nearsighted? It almost seems like a right of passage for young girls to be prescribed with glasses.
