I get your point but, I beg to disagree, @josequintujr. We need to speak English when teaching English subject in school. That's a requirement! That's why we need to explain clearly and give many examples and exercises to let students master a particular topic.

Your body language, hand gestures will blend well with broken or upside down english. Having said that, this beautiful teacher is a great tutor. Tama ang I “have been” watching dito. Ibig n’yang sabihin ay hanggang sa ngayong panahon ay patuloy pa s’yang nanunuod (although not on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis) Sa I “had been” watching kailangan pa ng isang verb (action) in the past tense. For example, I had been watching ESL videos before I discovered (another past action) your exciting video lessons.

Can you please review us on transitive and intransitive verbs? Thanks, teacher 😃
@peeps65392 жыл бұрын
Intransitive verbs can stand alone. It needs no OBJECT to complete the meaning of the sentence, e.g., rise. He rises. Transitive verb, on the other hand, requires an OBJECT to complete the meaning of the sentence, e.g., raise. He raises the FLAG. Note always that a verb may either be transitive or intransitive. So in constructing a sentence, determine if your verb needs an object or not to complete the meaning of the sentence. Further, usually a direct object of the verb can be spotted by asking "WHAT?" raises what? the flag ask what? a drink gave what? a gift In the preceding illustrations, you can therefore adduce that the verbs raise, ask, and gave are transitive verb because they need object (flag, drink, gift) to complete the meaning of the sentence.

I find this lesson so amazing. It really makes myself comfortable to understand and a huge help to construct using this lesson about has have had, doesn't, didn't and don't. Very clear, well explained, and easy to understand. Love it.
