is this britt walford from slint on drums? not entirely impossible as he played for other bands and was still active around 2007 and before and had a band on temporary residence - the same label as pinback. drum set up looks like his

if you're talking about the band watter, they joined temporary residence in 2014, so would've been long after this performance. if i had to guess, looks like it's from around 1999-2000 timeframe (definitely before the release of blue screen life, or right after). highly doubt the drummer is actually britt, but would be hilarious if it was considering rob and zach reference slint in "AFK"

Was this at a festival or something? Such a weird setting and noone is moving or even making any sound. They all have different amps and equipment, lineup is different.

why do they always speed up their songs when they perform them live??

most of the time. it sounds cool though, it gets you hyped. When it's slow it's a little boring live.. So they speed it up when they're live, it gets you get hyped.
