Not to be a hater, I love Pinback, this is one of my favorite songs ever and I'd love to see them live, but I honestly don't vibe with this faster version of Tripoli. Wish they played this live like the studio version, the chill vibes are just so good. Rushing the song doesn't do it any justice.

So upset when I saw them lived, they blew through this song at what felt like 100 BPM faster.. listen to the original.. this song is so chill and emotional, this just felt so rushed and unenjoyed :/

They do this because they can fit more songs into their set. I’ve seen them live several times now and I think it makes for a better show overall.
