Could someone for once, just make a straight forward tutorial, and shoot it from a spectator's POV? That means at Eye Level, without moving the camera in all sorts of unmotivated ways. In real every day life, we view things head-on, not moving in and out. It's really simple. Just point the camera from a MCU POV and don't indulge in superfluous cuts. There's a truism in Editing that the only time you move or change your shot, is when it's necessary to. It's a simply maxium I wish these Cardistry guys knew.
@HarrisonMace4 жыл бұрын
Definitely will take into consideration when filming the next tutorial
@davejohnson-yi2rk4 жыл бұрын
@@HarrisonMace Thanks! So many guys are fantastic at manipulation but how many have training in Film or Video Editing? Probably few if any. It'll only a bit longer to shoot it with the spectator's POV, and for Tutorials, the explanation part, IF you have someone who can shoot Over-the-Shoulder can be really helpful too, though I realize that not everyone can. I believe that one of the reasons that '52 Kards" (here on KZbin) is so successful, is because he has some of the best production values for any Magician or Card Performer around, and while I realize he's not really focused on Cardistry per se, he does occasionally demonstrate a few movies, and, I look at it this way: Once you post it, it's probably up forever, so might as well make it look good on your first posting. Many Thanks! - - - DJ
