~Open on a man in a glass box. ~ A drop of ink falls from the ceiling. The ink brings forth memories of the start of his last relationship. When he comes back to his body, he notices a faucet. He turns it on, and black ink pours from the ceiling. His whole relationship comes rushing back. The good, the bad and everything in between. For a moment he comes back to his body. The ink is now to his waist, yet he plunges his head back under the stream. He remembers their last fight. The screaming, the anger, and at the end the loneliness. It's then, while still in the memory of that empty apartment, that the black ink rushes over him. He's submerged. ~ Fade to black ~ That's the story that plays out in my head whenever I hear this song.
