Those are Christian ideas. Christians don't understand Judaism, & they think they do. This is from Christian mythology; if Mary was a virgin Jesus cannot inherit kingship from David, because that passes through the male line. Jesus had to have a human father in the line of David to be a Davidic prince. So was Joseph his dad, & is Joseph in the Davidic line? You are confused.

@@brynawaldman5790 : I'm sorry but you are confused and do not understand Judaism as well as you think you do. You state "Jesus had to have a human father in the line of David to be a Davidic prince." This is just plain wrong. The following is an explanation of how Jesus of Nazareth comes from the royal line of King David. This is all consistent with the Hebrew scriptures, Jewish law, and ancient Jewish custom. The Messiah must be a descendant of King David - we can agree on this. And considering that Jesus is claimed to be born of a virgin and does not have a human father, you claim that Jesus cannot come from the royal line of King David. Moreover, many Jewish people claim that even if Jesus’ adoptive father, Joseph is considered, the curse placed upon Jechonias and his descendants would preclude Jesus from being the Messiah. Well, the conclusions rabbi's often draw regarding Jesus of Nazareth's lineage and authority to reign as King are erroneous. Here is how Jesus comes from the royal line of King David: We should first note that Jesus has two different genealogies detailed within the New Testament. (Matthew 1:1-16; Luke 3:23-38) These two chapters, both giving genealogies of Jesus, at first appear to be contradictory, however, they actually complement each other. The genealogy in Matthew 1 is clearly that of Joseph, Mary's husband. Matthew records it for legal purposes. He is writing to prove to the Jews that Jesus is the Messiah, and the Jews' custom in keeping records is to trace descent through the father. Legally, the Jews of Jesus' day looked on Jesus as a son of Joseph (John 6:42). Also, Joseph's lineage is given to emphasize the fact that Jesus had been born of a virgin. Because of a curse that God placed on one of Joseph's ancestors, Jesus could never sit upon the throne of David if Joseph had been His natural father. Jechonias (Matthew 1:11-12), called Coniah in Jeremiah 22:24-30, was so evil God cursed him and his descendants, saying, "Write this man down as childless, . . . for none of his descendants shall prosper, sitting on the throne of David, and ruling anymore in Judah" (verse 30). Jeconiah, as his name is spelled in the Old Testament, had children (I Chronicles 3:17), but he was childless insofar as none of his descendants ruled as king over Judah. How, then, could Jesus be a descendant of David and qualify to sit on the throne? Enter the genealogy in Luke 3, which is Mary's. According to Jewish usage, Mary's ancestry is given in her husband's name. The original Greek merely says Joseph was "of Heli" or Eli (verse 23). In fact, since Joseph's father is said to be Jacob in Matthew 1:16, Heli is most probably Mary's father. Joseph, then, is his son-in-law. Unlike Joseph's lineage, there was no block in Mary's genealogy to Jesus sitting on the throne of David. Mary's descent from David comes through his son Nathan, not Solomon or one of David's other children (Luke 3:31). To fulfill His promise to establish David's throne forever, God honored Nathan by making him the ancestor of the promised King who would sit on David's throne throughout eternity (Luke 1:31-33). But how could Mary transmit David's royal inheritance-the right to the throne-to her Son, since all inheritances had to pass through the male line? According to Israel's law, when a daughter is the only heir, she can inherit her father's possessions and rights if she marries within her own tribe (Numbers 27:1-8; 36:6-8). There is no record that Mary had any brothers to inherit her father's possessions and rights. Thus, Joseph became Heli's heir by marriage to Mary, inheriting the right to rule on David's throne, even over Judah. This right then passed on to Jesus. Both genealogies had to be recorded to establish Christ's right to rule on David's throne. Joseph's genealogy shows that Christ was a legal descendant of Jeconiah and thus legally could not sit on the throne of David in the nation Judah by inheriting the right solely through Joseph. Further, the genealogies prove the virgin birth: The curse on Jeconiah's line would have passed on to Christ if He were Joseph's natural son, but He was not-He was the Son of God the Father, begotten by the Holy Spirit. Jesus was Mary's son descended from Nathan. Jesus can inherit rule over Judah because of Mary's marriage to Joseph, whose genealogy shows he was Heli's son-in-law.

You know, I believe in Yeshua. Because I was being aided by "people I cannot see" and once I felt pushed to ask for names, and Yeshua was on that list ... And as I read the bible 10 years later, maybe that's funny to some, but I was surprised about a few things I could read there and of which I didn't even know it was written, such as that you're supposed to give up your own free will to let God act through you. Someone led me to do that when I was 18, and ... Ahahaha. I was just meditating, for me it gets "physical" often and soon, so this time again, I started with laying down, but soon felt like standing up and idk how to describe it, but most often I'm starting to move my hands and arm in some way. Then for the first time I felt like words were coming to me, and without knowing what kind of words, I decided "Let's just speak them out loud!", so I heard myself say those things. Took me quite by surprise, I needed a moment of me not moving at all, just to see if something weird would happen 😅 thankfully that wasn't the case, but it for sure made me think about God and the meaning of this a lot!! That's why I always say I accidentally gave up my own free will, to let God act through me, causes that really wasn't my plan 😂😂🙈 Anyway ... I'm a bit confused, because does Isaiah not also speak of Yeshua coming to earth two times? I'm not a fan, for various reasons, to condemn people who ... hm ... don't stand behind "Jesus Christ" or do believe in Yeshua as the Messiah but not believing he already came once ... Various reasons ... But as confusing as Isaiah is to read, because if I remember correctly I had the impression he jumps between timelines a lot, what do Jews now believe about the first and second coming or is there no such dividing at all, and you only believe in him coming one time? Oh, I'm only in minute 2, I hope you don't answer already, or maybe that's stupid to hope for, but I hope I'm not too soon in asking questions that already have been answered. But just in case there's no answer to it (yet), I want to leave the question here.

Your story caught my eye. I was secular. Then, something, on several occasions, came over me. The messages within those experiences are this: we are all fallen and deserve death, pride was my worst trait and to read the book of Job specifically, and that I should seek God's will and foresake my own. I must consciously choose, minute by minute, day by day to seek the heart of God and to know him, and asking for forgiveness and forgiving others when we fall short. I struggle with my desires and I struggle with my thoughts to push them away so I may know the truth. Your will God, not mine. My life is no longer mine but I struggle to discipline myself. It does not come naturally because I am stubborn and self focused.

Isaiah 9:6 refers to King Hezekiah, not a divine figure. The titles ("Mighty God," "Everlasting Father") reflect God’s attributes manifest through him, not his divinity. Context: Isaiah 9:5 speaks of peace and victory during his reign. In Hebrew, terms like "El Gibbor" (Mighty God) are used metaphorically, as in Ezekiel 32:21 for warriors. This is about a human king blessed by God....The hebrew word is שַׂר which translates as "officer" from its original. It was the same word used by Joseph who ruled Egypt as well as military leaders. @SimchaBrodsky Hezekiah was already alive at the time of the prophecy.😭😂. Try another one... Isaiah 7:14 Let’s focus on two key criteria: A virgin (“almah”) will conceive a child The baby is called Immanuel “Almah” always referred to a maiden, an unmarried woman of sterling character, chaste and pure. Every almah is a virgin, because our Hebrew culture praised and protected virginity highly. In that culture, any young woman of marriageable age would be expected to be a virgin. This is vital to understand, because God gives this prophecy as a sign--which means it has to be unique, unusual, bizarre. It has to be something rare to be noticeable as a sign. A virgin giving birth would certainly qualify. But a married woman conceiving and birthing would not. It’s too normal to be a sign. The amount of energy and belief needed to deny scripture would be better employed in accepting what The Word says. It is hard to kick against the pricks.

What now comes to my mind, which I find interesting, is the description of Jesus Christ as the PRINCE of peace. And there seem to be discussions on whether Zion is the Holy City, or a female Messiah-figure, which is the "Mother" to this new Jerusalem. And the bible does say: Jesus said he is the "Son" of God, and he mentions his Mother. Claiming his true family were those fulfilling the Will of God, his brothers and sisters and his mother. Also the bible describes a mother, having just one child, which then had to be Jesus? Making him the prince, not the king. Furtherly she is described as being infertile, also interesting, so a female figure, with a male child, a son, yet infertile at the same time?

Romans 9 English Standard Version God's Sovereign Choice 9 I am speaking the truth in Christ-I am not lying; my conscience bears me witness in the Holy Spirit- 2 that I have great sorrow and unceasing anguish in my heart. 3 For I could wish that I myself were accursed and cut off from Christ for the sake of my brothers,[a] my kinsmen according to the flesh. 4 They are Israelites, and to them belong the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the worship, and the promises. 5 To them belong the patriarchs, and from their race, according to the flesh, is the Christ, who is God over all, blessed forever. Amen. 6 But it is not as though the word of God has failed. For not all who are descended from Israel belong to Israel, 7 and not all are children of Abraham because they are his offspring, but “Through Isaac shall your offspring be named.” 8 This means that it is not the children of the flesh who are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted as offspring. 9 For this is what the promise said: “About this time next year I will return, and Sarah shall have a son.” 10 And not only so, but also when Rebekah had conceived children by one man, our forefather Isaac, 11 though they were not yet born and had done nothing either good or bad-in order that God's purpose of election might continue, not because of works but because of him who calls- 12 she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” 13 As it is written, “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.” 14 What shall we say then? Is there injustice on God's part? By no means! 15 For he says to Moses, “I will have mercy on whom I have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I have compassion.” 16 So then it depends not on human will or exertion,[b] but on God, who has mercy. 17 For the Scripture says to Pharaoh, “For this very purpose I have raised you up, that I might show my power in you, and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.” 18 So then he has mercy on whomever he wills, and he hardens whomever he wills. 19 You will say to me then, “Why does he still find fault? For who can resist his will?” 20 But who are you, O man, to answer back to God? Will what is molded say to its molder, “Why have you made me like this?” 21 Has the potter no right over the clay, to make out of the same lump one vessel for honorable use and another for dishonorable use? 22 What if God, desiring to show his wrath and to make known his power, has endured with much patience vessels of wrath prepared for destruction, 23 in order to make known the riches of his glory for vessels of mercy, which he has prepared beforehand for glory- 24 even us whom he has called, not from the Jews only but also from the Gentiles? 25 As indeed he says in Hosea, “Those who were not my people I will call ‘my people,’ and her who was not beloved I will call ‘beloved.’” 26 “And in the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘sons of the living God.’” 27 And Isaiah cries out concerning Israel: “Though the number of the sons of Israel[c] be as the sand of the sea, only a remnant of them will be saved, 28 for the Lord will carry out his sentence upon the earth fully and without delay.” 29 And as Isaiah predicted, “If the Lord of hosts had not left us offspring, we would have been like Sodom and become like Gomorrah.” Israel's Unbelief 30 What shall we say, then? That Gentiles who did not pursue righteousness have attained it, that is, a righteousness that is by faith; 31 but that Israel who pursued a law that would lead to righteousness[d] did not succeed in reaching that law. 32 Why? Because they did not pursue it by faith, but as if it were based on works. They have stumbled over the stumbling stone, 33 as it is written, “Behold, I am laying in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and whoever believes in him will not be put to shame.”

Where there is no Torah there is no transgression. Selah Is righteousness from God by observance of Torah or by faith? Consider the patriarchs who received the promises from a distance and the covenants. Were they justified by what they did or by believing God is able to do what he said he would do and they walked in the promises (footsteps) by faith. For no man will be justified by Torah, rather through Torah you are conscious of sin and your need for a Redeemer to reconcile you to the Father. None are independent of each other.

@barrys.9040 I'm saying what Jesus taught, that money is the root of all evil; and in my opinion he was in the right time and right the place to see that clearly, it's like people were still mastering the power of money, Jesus is that point of mastery over money and it's temptation. I'm not like a fervent reader to all those scriptures like the rabbi's and priests. I only read Jesus and Moses and some of David. But it's my opinion and it's only an opinion, that because Jesus set himself up as I termed "diametrically opposed" to money his teachings will last until the end. The system of money as we know it and in particular "interest" had to penetrate every part of the world; and as it did so Jesus went with it because money will always cause problems to those who aren't immune to it's temptation. Money is like that ring from "lord of the rings" it corrupts things and man needs to become immune to it, and the antidote is Jesus Christ. Money is a necessary tool for man but he needs to learn how to wield it properly. Jesus Christ is the teacher and the Messiah.

Why would animal sacrifice be needed when it also says that all will listen to God because of Him? And why focus on the person less then all the things that are great in changing? I do not think that the Moshiach will find himself much important. Only his work counts.

You are assuming that sacrifices are only done when you dint listen to G-d which is false. Most sacrifices have nothing to do with sin and atonement. And the only sacrifices yoi bring for repentance is for some sins that you did by accident or admit to. And even in the messianic age accidental sins will take place. You know what is really interesting? Some might say that Noah was the First Messiah. And Moses as well. What does Messiah mean? Many Christians actually make a simple mistake that the Christ is Messiah, and the Messiah is Christ. Christ is a Messiah, but the Christ is the only One who is King of all things, the life which all men enjoy. Where does your power to breathe come from? And frankly, if the Law could make anyone righteous enough for Heaven, there would be no need for any Messiah, now would there? Heaven is among us, right now. Many should hear the Rabbi, he knows, we all see it, but do we understand it? I see the Sun and I know it is life. Others see the Sun, and they know it gives light. Why is the very same thing so very different?

His name is Yeshua and He is the Jewish MaShiach born in Beit Lechem in the City of David . He is a Jew by birth from the Tribe of Y'hudah . And the followers of Christ were first called Christians in Antioch, in the first century. Prior to Christianity being spread into Rome and later Europe. Catholicism translates to Universalism. As for Gentiles, yes, we are wild, the wild branch grafted into the branch of the Garden by the Gardener himself. All churches are of Man. The Church that Jesus built is in the Hearts of His people (Jeremiah 31:33), we don't belong to this world. Labels are useless. Life is all there is, everything that exists serves Life itself. It is all around you, plain to see. Not even Death is seen, but only Life. The texts, the books, the law, the faith, the science, the philosophies, all of it is in agreement. But, as taught, mankind will never be in agreement until Messiah comes again. Because it is written that all world will kneel before him and call him King. I just happen to do that now, instead of later. It is not a problem for me.

In the Old Testament there are descriptions of prophecies about the advent of three four kinds of Messiahs who have to appear for guidance according to the promise of God Almighty. We should not confuse them with one another as their advent times are different and their Missions are different. One Massiah who had to appear 2000 years ago for the people of Israel only that was the Son of Mary. A second one Massiah with a universal message for the people of all religions and nations after Jesus. According to the prophecies of the Bible this Messiah had to appear in the area of Paran. The third one Messiah that had to appear about 200 years ago in the middle of the eighteenth century. The fourth one, Massiah, has to appear quite End Time (about one thousand years after our time as we are passing through the 7th Millennium that is the last one and about two hundred years have passed). It is a mistake to apply all prophecies and descriptions of the Old Testament to one Messiah of Israel.

What you are advocating is false teachings and doctrines . Yeshua is a Jew from the Tribe of Y'hudah and the very seed and lineage of King David . He was born in Beit Lechem in the City of David . Salvation comes from the Jews .Jews wrote the Torah ,Tanakh and the B'rit Hadashah ( NT ) in Hebrew . And ALL of Yeshua's Talmidim and Emissaries were Jews . Yeshua is YHVH , He is The Great I AM of Moshe , He is the Ancient of Days . Yeshua is The Word of G-d made flesh . He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth and everything in them . He created Adom and Isha in Gan-Eden . He walked and talked with them . He spoke to Noach and told him to build the Ark . He appeared to Avraham and Sarah under the Oaks of Mamre and Avraham and Sarah saw Him and conversed with Him . Ya'acov wrestled with Yeshua all night long . Dani'el described Him in chapter seven . I can go on and on and on . When Yeshua returns in the clouds of heaven with His army of Mal'akim ( angels ) ,He will sit on the Throne of His forefather David and He will rule the House of Ya'acov forever --there will be no end to His Kingdom .

Where on earth do you see your pagan Messiah in Zachariah chapter 12 or anywhere else. It's typical that you just use circular reasoning to imply something not there. Also, there is no such thing as a second coming in TANACH anywhere. It's made up by the church as an excuse why nothing happened that the Messiah is supposed to accomplish. Under that logic, you can imply anyone is the Messiah. It's foolish nonsense.

He is right...the most bibles come from the Roman Empire, the Emperor Constantine who created the Christianity in the year 325 AD, in the ecumenical council of Nicea against the Arianism that the argument was that Jesus was a simple man, very far to being from divine origen...So final that was the point of beginning of Christianity. Someone want the true history make a research. Key topics: Flavius Josephus/Constantine the Great Roman Emperor and the creation of Christianity/ the begging of holy crusades under Urbano II Pope and King of Christians of Middle East Jesursalem Alejo II (1100 year), Gutemberg the Creator of printing who stole and translate the Christian Bible latin to German (century XIV/around 1500), the Septuagint and vulgata bible. So the Roman Empire they stole a Torah and for Centuries they were trying to translate the Torah to Latin, so the first result the vulgata bible, and from there many kinds of versions to Gutemberg. So final terrible translations and manipulations. So is thrue time right now. We are not in the Middle Age under the holy inquisition, who cut thousands of heads to say the truth.
