Perhaps one of the finest videos on KZbin. We studied the Pine Barrens back in 1971 when I studied under Jack McCormack and Ian McHarg at University of Pennsylvania (Regional Ecological Planning) and made some great field trips. Bravo for restraining from adding any fake music score....the real sounds are the great symphony here, as well as the photos. Thanks.

This is such a great video. I was born and raised in those woods till I was 14. It made a lasting impact on me. The richness and diversity of the landscape is off the charts.

Absolutely beautiful I live in Camden County but have lived in a lot of places in this country. When I try to describe the Pines I can never find the words to adequately describe eloquently described its beauty Beauty and tranquility.

I know these areas well, they are so beautiful,the Pine Barrens are the only thing I love about our state.Sad. But it’s beauty can’t be rivaled! Fantastic video!

Thank you for the pictures and sounds of the New Jersey pine Barrens that i miss so much Now im really home sick . I will never forget the beauty of the barrens .I lived there a lot of years . in south Jersey. I moved to Fla to get my dream job a long time ago .We have swamps. gator snakes a real pain to walk around and enjoy the beauty like you did there .i miss it .Please keep the pictures and the sounds coming I see our swamp every day from the air

Excellent video of the visual and audible breathtaking beauty of the Jersey Pine Barrens. I'm probably going to keep coming back to sooth myself. My heart misses it. I wish I could go back but the tsunami will put Jersey under water.
