So nice to go out and hike with your son. Looks like you had perfect weather. I liked the hike you chose that the observation tower. Always nice to climb those towers and get a different perspective. That one mushroom did look like a Mario brothers mushroom.

Thanks for visiting Sarah!!! Always a pleasure being with one or both of my sons!!! Yep, leave it to yungin's to ID the Mario 'shrooms...LOL!!! Not many places in Pinchot State Forest that I don't enjoy...such a beautiful resource here in northeast PA. 👊🏻😄

Man that vista has really grown up over the years... Nice of your son to join you for this hike its always wonderful when the weather breaks a bit in the summer time. Loved the music choices for this one very relaxing enjoyable hike!

Wtg Justin, taking some time out to go on a hike with the ol' man! I've been to Pine Hill Vista. It was completely overcast the day I was there, but I still loved it. Nice use of music in the video, Griz. You do a great grouse impression, too 😅

Great hike. Happy Birthday! Looks like they need to build up that observation deck to keep up with the trees. Whew, chowing down on a huge hoagie before starting a hike! I know when we're hiking for a full day, I'm always pretty spent after having lunch and the rest of the day is kinda rough.
