Great video, I'm looking forward to see how it turns out. The 'Pineapple Bits' gin made by 1919 Distilling is a really nice gin, it is made to emulate a candy here in New Zealand called Pineapple Lumps, which are chewy chocolate coated pineapple flavoured candy. I think 1919 use some cacao nibs in their distillation also, the gin is very much like the candy flavour without the sweetness. The owner of 1919 Distilling is Soren Crabb, he is a great guy and is now making whiskey also, and he has been prominent in getting some regulations set in NZ around commercial spirit production and quality. I will see if we are able to send you some of his gin and also the candy to try. Cheers

Great boiler setup, and easy mashing proces, with little effort you get a great base product. Nice explanation as always 👍👌

Thanks 👍, yes mashing process with this kind of setup is extremely easy. Only few things are important: milled malt has to not too small and speeds of cycle system has to be adjusted correctly.
