did a pineapple jalapeño last summer was so good . roasted and used a half of jalapeño per qrt. and took it out about 5 days in because likker seems to absorb the pepper flavor fast. and used a simple syrup instead of putting straight sugar in the jars . it really turned out to be a hit !

Also makes a nice wine. One thing though, it is terrible if distilled. It will rip your mouth and throat out as a brandy. I tried distilling it as a brandy a few times.

You can plant that top and grow pineapples in a pot! Takes about 2 years if you don't let it freeze.
