It was really good. I used the pineapple cake mix. It was moist. I did not use any oil. No need to adjust your recipe.

I've only made pineapple upside down cake in a springform pan and the recipe calls for separating eggs and fold in the whites, so happy to find your recipe! I do have a question... do you use sweetened or unsweetened pineapple?

Love this recipe 😋. Will attempt for Thanksgiving. So Im not an expert around the kitchen and cooking gives me bad anxiety. So I must ask just because it wasnt in the steps. What is the best way to Grease my cake dish how much? What do you call the cake pan?

It is called a bundt pan and you can get one at Walmart or Target pretty cheap. Grease the pan with PAM (comes in a spray can) or Crisco. Coat the entire pan..bottom, all sides and the middle thing that sticks up very well. I usually spray the pan, take a paper towel and spread it around and repeat again to avoid the cake sticking to the pan. When you take it out of the oven you can gently run a knife around the edges to help loosen it up. Also, it is easier if you let the cake cool for 20-30 minutes before taking it out of the pan. Why not just mix the melted butter with the brown sugar then pour it in

Mike ~ I add the butter first to coat the bottom of the pan before I add the brown sugar. It may not make a difference, but bundt pans have a tendency of things sticking to them and the brown sugar is sticky. It may work either way, let me know if you try it that way! Thank you for watching!
