I was looking for a way to make this cake and stumbled upon you. I have since made this cake about 3 times and it's always amazing. When I tried to make it in the oven a few years back, I was so disappointed. It didn't come out right. But with this stack cooker, it never fails. I love that you have shared this. It is amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Great demo~! I too sell Tupperware. I love the stack cooker. I was looking for a few new recipe ideas to demo. This is the first time I have heard or seen anyone demo a Pineapple Upside Down cake with this recipe. I am definitely going to use it. Thank you. I do have one tip for you that I do when I demonstrate the cakes. Flip the cake over with the lid on. It is easier and cleaner than using a plate because it won't move around while you flip it over and any liquid from the brown sugar/butter mixture won't spill over the side. You can also use the bottom pan portion (clean it out first) that you cooked it in as a cake cover after serving to keep it from drying out or critters getting to it. It will also fit neatly in the cake taker we sell. Use one of our cake slicers to cut it and it won't scratch the stack cooker. Oh~! One more item that I myself just started doing ... Tell them what microwave wattage to use. We recently bought a new microwave that is 1200 watts. Everything was coming out over cooked until I realized I wasn't adjusting the temperature setting. It used to be that all microwaves had the same maximum wattage, but they don't anymore~! When the stack cookers first came out, the average wattage was 600-700 for the recipes. So, with all that in mind, could you please tell me what wattage microwave you are using, and did you cook the cake on high? Thank you once again for posting your demonstration~!

Glad you love the demo! This was an 1100 watt microwave. Tupperware tests all of their products using 900 watt microwaves, as we're an international country and 900 watts is the max allowed in Europe. All microwaves are different, so as you figured out on your own, you'll have to play around until you "know" your microwave.

I really enjoyed this video, don't care if it was recorded 4 years ago..lol. I loved his full explanations and lots of tips and seeing Tupperware products everywhere. I'm a new fan Brad! And I was recently given a couple Tupperware catalogs and Can't Believe the AMAZING selection--didn't know Tupperware has grown so much over these 70 (:0) years! Great brand, great company, another great $ making opportunity, and bottom line: great products, love the colors too!! The colors in diff products alone are making me a BIG fan, lol. I feel like I'm about to start a big Tupperware selling adventure.....your video helped! Brad, thank you, I loved this video, makes me want to go make this cake asap, Lol. I hope you're still making Tupperware videos today in 2018 and I will certainly continue to watch! Thank you for making this video. P.S. you have me sold on those measuring cups and mixing bowl, breakfast maker, butter dish/holder, and the microwave stack cooker. You should get paid! You just sold all these products to me! I'm looking forward to selling these beautiful long-lasting products, I'm pretty dang excited, and YOU helped :)

I don't think you needed to put all that butter initially with the sugar, but thank you for showing me how to use that 'tower' too and the reason why it's there. :)

You should have shown how good the "saucy silicone spatula" works to get all of the cake mix out of the bowl. :)

Brad, great demonstration, just not something I would try, came on to find a good Pineapple Upside Down Cake, stumbled upon you. I use Tupperware strictly for storing foods, im not a fan of Microwave Baking, I had purchased a brand new in the box Bundt Brand fluted cake pan, the traditional shaped Bundt, it was made back in the later 90's, I bought it at a Thrift Store brand new, the interesting thing about the Plastic Bundt, and yes, it is an off white, opaque color hard plastic material, it is designed for use in both a Microwave, or in a conventional oven up to 325°. It didn't perform good in either type Oven. My use of Silicon was not satisfactory either. I will stick to using a conventional Oven for Baking. However, I want to commend you on a very detailed demonstration. I have several Tupperware Bowls and Containers ,they date back to the early 90's. Love the mixing Bowl with the loop for holding, great idea, glad to see Tupperware is hanging on!

It sounds like you purchased our original oven-safe Tupperware product, Ultra 21. Tupperware now has UltraPro microwave-safe, oven-safe, freezer-safe products - it's quite an improvement over Ultra 21. Feel free to peruse my site: my.tupperware.com/BradGardner

Mark Conti I think you need some new stuff. The old Tupperware didn't microwave well. It left rings and worn out. I love this stack cooker. I make dinner almost every night in it!

To Mark Conti: What a sweet and nice long reply, that's usually me.. ;) I do lengthy and then I always worry if it's too long. When it comes down to it, I can't say what I want in one or two sentences...usually. I love your nice response and telling us your own experience---cuz it helps us out too!! Thanks! :)

Well I love the fact that a man (presumably gay) sells Tupperware and is not ashamed to broadcast it. I don't love the beard. I do love the white shorts and the domesticity of you using the egg maker for your man every day. I don't love that you didn't show that the texture of the cake is not awful and gummy like microwave cakes are, nor do I love the broken pineapple falling off that Jim should have fixed. They do make, by the way, a cake mix for puc. It is a good tip to use the juice instead of water. Tip for the future is also to include prices and improve the lighting. Also, shave. :o
