He’s acutely aware of the human experience and manages to pen astute observations about self and circumstance with genuine wonder. when it comes down to it, I think this song is pinegroves masterpiece. the reason it's so short is because there's nothing else to be said. this is pinegrove concentrated into a song, and it simultaneously their most unique and novel, while being one of their catchiest and most emotional. truly a great song, and this is their best performance of it.

this is 1000% the best version of this song I've heard. not that there could ever be a subpar version. but something ab this version is so energetic but subtle at the same time and you can see the passion in all their eyes and movements it's just super amazing to listen to and watch !! also the way Evan sings "thinking" at 1:08 is so fucking cool like idk. ALSO the way they pronounce "from" like "froom" in this song is beautiful lol
