@@MarcAlcatraz I know this response is five years late but they do record their albums live in the room. Very few overdubs. Most of the albums were recorded in the house that they shared in New York. It didn't cost them anything to record

Im an old bloke now.. and I grew in the grunge era. I counldnt stand country music, and I've never really been into Indie or whatever it is.. Pingrove has unwound me and rebuilt me, and I completely love them.. Tight AF, masters of dynamics.. Just give me more Pinegrove..

One of my favorite Pinegrove songs. Love 2:58. You can tell how tight this band is during that tempo change. Everyone turns their attention right to Evan as he dictates the tempo while the drums continue on with the original tempo but a decrescendo. I was wondering how they would do it live, and it sounds incredible. Also Nick on the slide is killing it with those dynamics

Remastering isn’t going to do anything. I think what you mean is remixed. Remastering takes the original recording that exists now and just makes it louder overall. Re-mixing the session stems would allow you to bring the pedal steel up louder
