A hospital setting has a range of patients receiving different forms of care: a medical emergency, serious illness, or mobility issues due to surgery or medical condition. All of them may require the use of hospital restraints at some point during their hospital visit to help keep doctors, nurses, other hospital staff, and even fellow patients safe.
Pinel’s hospital restraints allow for comfort, mobility, and protection from falls. Our gait belt (waist belt) allows for easier mobility for patients who need exercise or to simply move about their room.
And since we use comfortable, durable layers of textiles including para-aramides (ie. Kevlar™) and other anti-microbial materials instead of stiff leather or sticky vinyl, patients who need to be restraints for longer periods of time can still be comfortable and secure.
