Pinellas Trail Part 1 / Path Pedaler Episode 9

In this episode Mary Jo explores the Pinellas Trail along the west coast of Florida. She will start her adventure at the sponge docks in Tarpon Springs where she will savor some Greek pastries. From there Mary Jo will head south to the Tarpon Springs Area Historical Society located in the old train Depot. Next door she will stop at Replay Amusement Museum for some pinball fun. Continuing on her journey through Palm Harbor Mary Jo stops at Suncoast Primate Sanctuary where she talks with park manager Debbie Cobb.Then after a quick stop at Wall Springs Park she takes a short side trail to Honeymoon Island. Once back on the Pinellas Trail Mary Jo heads south once again through Dunedin where she stops at Home Plate Restaurant for something to eat. Then she finishes her day with a ride through downtown Clearwater.

Mary Jo, I am a "serious" Florida road cyclist who likes to occasionally check out rail trails. The Pinellas Trail has been on my radar for about a year, and I just recently began looking for some helpful information before I actually drive up there (I live in Venice FL, about 90 miles south) and ride the trail. Anyway, I stumbled across your videos and found them to be quite informative. On another note, I must say, as someone who watches a LOT of KZbin, the production, editing, and general presentation of your videos are outstanding. You should certainly have way, way more subscribers/views than you do! Best regards.

@@pathpedaler8535 Long time no hear! Hello again. FYI, because of the great detail of your video, I decided the Pinellas was too busy for me. Instead I rode the Withlacoochee which starts in Brooksville FL, and later the Van Fleet, an extremely rural trail that starts in Polk City. If I were to recommend one it would be the Withlacoochee. It's pretty quiet, but has some interesting towns/attractions along the way. Anyway, I checked your channel and was happy to see you are still producing content. Best regards.

I am moving to Dunedin FL and have been looking for a good video that shows what's around to do for months now, and of the dozens of videos I have watched, this is by far the best, most professional and informative one I have seen. This was so helpful and professionally done, you should have your own tv show, I swear!

in the future your viewers would greatly appreciate something less than a 30 minute introduction to every video. Instead you should make an introduction video (separately) and then all other videos begin immediately rather than the viewer having to skip ahead every time and even when the intro is over you are still standing there talking instead of peddling down the trail. More success on KZbin means more video & less introduction and chatter. Just saying.

I disagree, I've seen many videos of people just walking or driving around who don't say enough, this was very informative, just what I was looking for!
