So, my pack says that the wheels may be canted, but the axles may not be bent. Could you tell me the correct ways to insert the axles into a slot type block? Thanks! Pinwood Noob

I know there are tools/jigs that allow you to drill an angled hole in the car body to run straight axles with canted wheels, I have just never used one since we run angled axles.

When do you think it's ideal to straighten the axle before or after polishing?

We straighten them first, then polish to remove any imperfections from the dies.

Perfectly straight axles is a bold claim. You may want to reconsider your wording, because everybody who has this tool knows it won't produce anything close.

Well, if I can spin it in a drill press chuck and not detect any wobble it's close enough to perfect for us.
