I know it's Pindemonium, but I wrote and created it as PINHEADS but Universal couldn't clear the title---so they stuck me with Pindemonium. I always call it by it's original titile--The Obermiester was terrific to work with. Miss him.

Did you ever work on any other game shows besides this one? Side Note - Loved the work you did with Styx! I watched the credit reel from the Paradise Theater tour, that was a treat to look at. :)

Hi Dan-thanks for kind words-yes I did a couple other game shows---the biggest called "Fantasy Park" which spun my VH1 Corvette Collection -as a weekly "1-900" call in show for FOX---which had the great misfortune to run smack dab into Gulf War I (Fox ordered 13 but we only ran 1)---way too far ahead of it's time FantasyPark

Can't believe I just found this (I actually never thought any footage was released). I am 1/2 of the duo that "won" the car. I loved doing the pilot. Ken (RIP) was the nicest, coolest guy (and I was a huge Remote Control fan), and it's a good thing my wife bowled 'cause when they tried me I couldn't hit a pin to save my life. I recall meeting in an office (with you and a few execs, I'm sure) for the first audition, and we got asked the "how fast do you fall asleep after sex" question. The callback was at a Larchmont bowling alley.

That siren that wet off when the car was won was also used for $100K wins on "$100,000 Name That Tune" (Tom Kennedy's version) throughout the 1970's.

The announcer is one that also tended to voiceover various trailers for MCA-Universal Home Video releases during this time. Not sure who he is, though. He sounds kinda like Doug Paul....

His name's John Leader. Speaking of game shows, you've probably heard his voice in a bunch of Hollywood Squares promos from the John Davidson era that are on KZbin.

No... it came from Name that Tune, actually. (Specifically, Tom Kennedy's version when someone won $100,000.)

Kinda interesting that Brad Lachman did this with Universal-- it seems more like something either Stone-Stanley or Kline & Friends would've done.

Right, Brad Lachman Produced SOLID GOLD for Paramount Television, but yeah it is interesting seeing him do something outside of Paramount Television
