Nice video. I'm setting up a few of these projects as well. My understanding of air pruning is it can extend the life of the plant in a pot and increase the efficiency of nutrients to the root zone which in turn makes for a more productive plant.

This proves that if you initially grow a plant in an air pot, you are “training” the root system so that when you transfer it to the ground, it will adapt and grow faster than normal transplanting. Does this sound correct?

one thing i noticed is the lack of moisture in air pot, I always use a tray to help to keep moisture, as soil will dry out more in air pots so you must water more than with normal pots, as for the comment on only any good for trees, i do not think that is true as onion growers use air pots to grow giant onions 10 pounders

I use waste paper baskets ,, really cheap and work very well. Yes like you I have atray and water little but often . However the airpot only helps when the roots have spread to the air holes , otherwise just the same a standard pots

i think i was to late with this container. i should done it earlier. no big difference in this scenario. i am preparing another demonstration with same pots but drilled holes and more. thanks for watching

Air pruning pots not suitable for vegetable plants since their life is mostly one year they waste all energy in building roots only. Air pruning pots suitable for tree plants which grows faster and have more life.

This year I bought some air pots and I will try with new habanero, with my old habaneros plants who have 3 years already i just made holes in some pots to see if they gonna be more beautiful leafs, grown faster and if they will give more 🌶 on.

Корни в горшке маленьком лучше. Перцев на кусту больше. Корни в большом горшке, air pot, горшке с перфорацией - маленькие и тонкие, и урожай перцев меньше. Хотя земли больше именно в горшке с аэрацией, плодов и куст там меньше. Если бы земли было бы столько же в горшке без аэрации, то победа была бы ещё более яркой. Горшок без аэрации победил.
