IT IS! Sam Brown was a top tier pop singer in the UK at the time! She had a #1 hit single and also sang with Pink Floyd during the 1994 "P.U.L.S.E." concerts. What a talent!

Another great live version of Comfortably Numb by the wonderful Pink Floyd, from Knebworth (1990). Have to say though that my all time favourite live version has to be from the Pulse concert, I just love it. It's not just the music which was epic, but the whole ambience, the lighting, the special effects, just awesome. You've done quite a few reactions to songs from this concert, guys, and I love them all! I hope you have a fantastic time in Budapest at the Roger Waters concert, guys, and look forward to hearing all about it, yes, you must be really hyped and excited, not too long to go now! Great to see reactions from the guys again, I think the long time since the last reaction was because George wasn't well and suffering with a cold, poor thing! I do hope he's a lot better now before heading off to Budapest for the Roger Waters concert on Sunday. I've watched bits of the current tour on YT and it does look amazing, with all the special effects and of course the music. I bet the guys come back absolutely buzzing from the experience! The weather has been gorgeous here the past few days, so been enjoying sitting outside and going for my walks. All change on Saturday not for too long I hope. How's things with Norma? I can never pick a favorite between Knebworth & Pulse for this song; there's so many great aspects of each! I will say it was great to (finally) hear more than just a wee snippet of George's voice. (George, you really do sound better than you give yourself credit for.) The duo of both voices when Patrick joined in was a joy! Like Anne, I hope the shirts & LP I sent you finally made it across half the globe safely to you. I am very happy that Pink Floyd came near me and I was able to attend a concert in Venice (1989). The stage was so big at sea in the middle of the bay that the two Mac tow trucks on the sides looked like toys. It was a Saturday night concert with all possible lighting effects far into the night sky. For two days, the crowd occupied the entire coast, St. Mark's Square and nearby streets. A few hours before the concert, the bars closed, people climbed on statues, balconies, anchored taxi boats...etc. On Sunday morning the square was whitened as if snow had fallen; from approx. 20 cm of garbage.. On Monday, the city 'government' was dismissed because those responsible did not foresee so much damage, especially to sacred buildings and statues. The ban on such concerts came into effect.

Queen with Freddy and Pink Floyd with David Gilmour were and are absolute exceptional talents and bands. Something like this happens every 100 years - if at all. I don't want to exaggerate but for me these two bands are dinosaurs of rock history. I live in Cologne Germany and 58 yo, i saw Queen live in Cologne on july 19th 1986 and Pink Floyd live in Rome on september 27th 1994. It can't be described in words, it's indescribable, the mood, the entire audience, the whole atmosphere. This is music that will have its followers and lovers for well over 100 years. These two concerts still carry me emotionally to this day. This is music that stays. If Freddy hadn't died so early, the music world would probably have looked very different today.

I was there! I have almost dried out! The weather was absolutely awful, you could see the smoke blowing around. The material in the circle of lights was either taken down, or blew down, so the light show was not the same. I like this performance, I remember Run Like Hell and I'm sure they did On the Turning Away A you say, always slightly different

Loving your reactions guys. Back in the day I used to alternate most of my listening between Floyd, Yes and early Genesis. All excellent musicians but different in their approach to how they sounded so I could not say definitively which of them was my favourite. Now at 60 I have started listening to all my old records again and for me now I think I would lean more towards Yes. I've seen you have already done some Yes reactions but please seek out "The Yes Album" and react to Yours is no Disgrace and Starship Trooper. Keep up the good work.

Brilliant version, but my all-time favourite version is from David's gig at Hammersmith Odeon from 1984 promting his solo album (and not just because I was there). Not being tied to the same large stage production it breathes even more, ands the band are having such fun together. Guys, even if you don't react to this version, please do check it out. You missed the third chance to decide the best live version of the 2005 reunion at Live 8 (20 years of Live Aid). Listen to it, then realize the tension in the vocals there, which fully accentuates the content. Good night to everyone else. Thank you gentlemen, I hadn’t seen this version or concert before...... well worth the experience. David’s playing is not flawless here, but technically superior to the 1994 Pulse concert in the first solo and at the early part of the 2nd solo....... However, Pulse is still the best concert I have ever seen or heard and Comfortably Numb from Pulse is at least 30% better than this one. lol
