Saw them in Foxboro Stadium in 94 as well with my future wife...=) there was a slight drizzle during the concert but I am sure no one cared (or noticed). Best concert I have ever been too (out of MANY). Second best concert was Pink Floyd an Nassau Coliseum on Long Island back in the mid seventies for the Dark Side of the Moon tour...Sorry for your lost Terry but memories can help...

Thank you so much for reacting to this. I was in high school here in North Carolina when this song first came out in 1979. I remember it well. My girlfriend at the time and I loved attending concerts. It was one of the things we loved doing together. My wife did the same thing during that time period as well. There were a huge number of wonderful groups at the time and concerts were not very expensive to attend. Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Boston, Journey, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Triumph, 38 Special, Foreigner, and many others. I cannot describe to you what a wonderful time it was to be young then compared to today. We were happier, relationships were closer, life was more carefree, and the music was spectacular. Our 4 adult children (28-33) love 70’s/80’s music just as we do. My heart just aches that young people will not get to experience life as we did as teenagers in the 70’s/80’s. Again, thank you so much for posting this video. It was a wonderful treat.

There were a lot of great rock guitarists in the 60's through the 90's. Some much faster than David Gilmour, some flashier; but I've never heard anyone that can touch your soul like this man. Couple that with the great songwriting and wonderful production and you had something much greater than your typical concert; more like a religious experience. Glad you can still enjoy it!

I was there for 2 of these concerts as well - it was a religious experience. I almost couldn't believe what I was hearing the first time and thought "it couldn't have been THAT good, I must have been caught up in the moment." Hello from Australia. Hi, it's god to see young people (i'm 68) reacting to Pink Floyd, i have been a Floydy for 50 yrs now. i flew from Australia just for that concert,a life changing event. the second solo in this song the best soul touching solo ever. Dave Gilmour can make a guitar talk, sing and cry all at the same time. every Floyd album is a journey, and each track is a different road on that journey. i taught myself to play guitar after hearing, Wish You Were Here. and Comfortably Numb is the last song i play every night. enjoy your journey.

I saw this same show in N.Y. 1994. The concert brochure said the stage is 120 feet wide. It takes a crew of 60 technicians three days to set up the entire lights and all. (over 1,200) The concert schedule required that there had to be three entire crews to keep up. They leap frogged each other for 92 shows with 20 Trucks per crew and a total staff of 195. The tour cost the promoters $98.MILLION to put on, but the total profit was $260 MILLION… I have seen Pink Floyd 4 times. I met David Gilmour in 1984 back stage at a concert in Hollywood Calif. He gave me a signed album that I have in my music room. We talked for 22 minutes. I called him…“The Master Of The Stratocaster” He smiled. I asked if I could shake both his hands that make such great guitar solos, he smiled bigger and said “Sure” and shock both hands at the same time, I smiled HUGE. I asked him to describe his technique of playing guitar, he replied… “I strike a note, bend it, shake it and then release it”…. Yes, he does that quite well.

I too was at this concert and had tears rolling down my face, which is kind of embarrassing for a 30 years old guy. The girl next to me grabbed hold of me and held on because her legs had given way. I had to give her some water afterwards and help her sort herself out. She was so overcome with emotion. The whole concert was a truly unforgettable experience and every time I watch this I cry. I can't believe you paused it so many times to read comments and again 10 seconds from the end. Very bad habit girl.

The celestial disco ball that opens up is actually my favorite part. And the round circular disc with the lights around it over the drums above is also a image screen that has various images projected on it depending on the song that is being played at the time and it to can move upright or downwards. Pink Floyd by far gave you the best visual show ever. I saw them in Anaheim during their animals album tour. I hitchhiked from El Paso, TX all the way there with 2 of my friends. This was in the early to mid eighties. Greatest show I ever saw.🎸🎤🎵

I recommend watching the whole concert if not for reaction but for your own personal enjoyment. Trust me , you will not be disappointed. After this song comes another fantastic song called “ Run like hell “. Both of these songs are awesome.

From the same show, check out "Run Like Hell".It was the encore and the explosive ending is heartstopping. I jumped 4 feet in the air even though i was about 20 rows back from the front. A life-changing concert.

Am not ashamed to say that this performance moves me to tears every time and I am 70. This is as close to a religious experience as you can get. Perhaps could look at Comfortably Numb Live in Pompeii that is fantastic as well.

Just came across this because I love to listen to Pink Floyd. This was from the "Division Bell" tour in 1994, and while I was not at THIS concert, I was lucky enough to see the Rotterdam leg in the same year, in 1994, when I still lived in The Netherlands. I was 20 in 1994, and as a fan of classic rock.... the Pink Floyd albums of "Dark Side of the Moon" and "The Wall" belonged in every classic rock fan's collection, just like Michael Jackson's "Thriller" belongs in any pop fan's collection. Then a friend of mine asked me to come to this concert. He had gotten free tickets, as Volkswagen was the tour sponsor, and his father owned a VW dealership. That concert changed my music life. I have since bought virtually all Pink Floyd albums, and Pulse is definitely one of my favorites. Kristin, you have been touched by a Rock God with this particular version of the song, it is in my opinion the greatest guitar solo ever made. It is said that Leo Fender invented the Stratocaster guitar, and David Gilmour put a soul into it.

I'm trying to remember, did you at sometime during this happen to say ''WOW'? Just kidding...I have been blessed to know of this version for almost 30 years, and the song itself for over 40. Yes, it still gets me a tad damp in the eyes. Even as a musician, I still hear things in the mix that are new to me. Glad you enjoyed....

Pink Floyd has always been my favorite band I got hooked in the mid-seventies I was fortunate enough to see them a few times in concert listening to Pink Floyd has always been a comfort for me. I had a pretty shity childhood so I fell back on listening to music especially Pink Floyd. David Nick and Rick we're nearly in their 70s right here. That alone is pretty impressive. There's something very special especially between David Gilmour and his fans I think it's a true love and respect David just recently sold hundreds of his guitars I'm not sure the amount I know it's black Stratocaster sold for 300 million and he donated everything to charity not only is he one of the best guitar players but he's one hell of a human being
