Saw this tour in 1987, Carrier Dome, Syracuse NY. I've seen the best, some in duplicate. This was something to hear and behold. No one had ever put anything like this together, ever. And they never will. The greatest concert I have ever seen. I went with my two brothers and 10 friends. Once in a lifetime opportunity. Unforgettable.😎

What a privilege. I discovered Floyd in the early 00s and have never had the chance to see them. In my opinion this concert is when Gilmour is at his absolute best. Absolutely amazing!

Also why is "The Great Gig In The Sky" not on the actual album? I own both the vinyl and CD versions of this album but "The Great Gig In The Sky" is not on the albums. Why? It is the GREATEST LIVE PERFORMANCE OF THE SONG EVER!

Will never forget that tour. Had just handed in my final dissertation at uni and I was finally free to breathe and enjoy their music. Saw them twice in Italy, in Modena and Monza. I could argue that some of the arrangements used in the subsequent "Division Bell" tour were better (Time, for example), but who cares? Thank you for sharing.

Écoute après écoute , aucune lassitude. Toujours l'impression de découvrir ces chansons, cette musique. Et toujours se frisson qui parcours mon épine dorsale. Un de mes plus grands regrets est de n'avoir pas pu concrétiser ma venue à Versailles. Un soucis de billet , et de ma province, de ma jeunesse, je n'avais pas imaginé qu'il aurait suffit d'un peu de culot pour trouver ces sésames à l'entrée. Certes depuis j'ai pu voir D. Gilmour et N. Mason, mais j'ai raté les deux ensembles avec le regretté R. Wright. Je me satisfais donc depuis de tout les moyens d'écoute. Là c'est youtube, mais dans la voiture est glissé le double album live, parmi d'autres ...

Je partage tes regrets Xof24, du haut de mes 58 balais...cette musique est juste biblique, spirituelle et intemporelle et même si comme toi je n’ai pas eu la chance de rencontrer directement les dieux sur scène, la voix de Gilmour et ses mélodies me transportent encore et toujours vers un petit coin de ciel quelque part très loin d’ici, vers un lieu reposant et rassurant où j’aime me ressourcer...Ce groupe a su sublimer son art, espérons que les prochaines générations puissent saisir la valeur de cet héritage...

I saw the concert live in Hanover (Germany) ... Amazing! Unfortunately I don't know of a superlative that could describe this experience. This tour still affects me today and I have tears of joy in my eyes. Today I am old but I have kept this magic to this day. God bless this creativity Thank you very much for uploading!
