its incredible how much melody he gets from a simple pentatonic pattern.

Well ... that's why Gilmour is Gilmour, isn't? =D Not the mos accurate, most skilled guitar player ... but as a musician, he really kwns how to make good musica with his limitations! But actually it's not just the petatonic ... the major 2º from the Em Eolian make things much more melodic =D i took 3 years to reply ... so, if you'r still there ... Thanks for watching =) Greets from Brasil.

in 25years of listening to pink floyd i've never heard of someone who can mimic David Gilmour that much ! you're amazing Mario ..Super Mario !! not just the perfect play and the perfect sound to each of your covers !! it's all that details and nuances of Gilmour's play that you have caught and covered as close as possible ...believe me man don't know how much time you took to learn this but you amaze with each single note you play...never heard someone else playing that good David Gilmour which means Knopfler and him are ones of the hardest guitarists to play... and you did it the way it should...you're gifted that's all.. Bravo and thanks for all your videos... PS; you're PULSE another brick solo is just PERFECT AND AWESOME...

You really did this solo justice man, sounds awesome! So much feeling in each note. 0:43 - 0:47 is my favourite part of the entire solo and you nailed it. I also really love the camera angle close to the fretboard so we can get a closer look at your finger movement :)

I'm slowly getting this. thanks for doing this video lesson. There are quite a few lessons posted for this solo, but I want to tell you that I think yours is the best of them all! Well done I say, and thanks again. I'm gonna keep at it until I have it down. Gilmour's guitar tone on this record is really great. I'd apreciate any tips you might have on achieving that tone even close or else just what amp settings you are using here.

Thank you ! ! I really appreciate your commentary ... i'm working on '' Any colour you Like'' video lesson ... there isn't any lesson for this song here on you tube ! ! ! Hope you achieve this solo soon ! Post your video too , and send it to me !

I think Gilmour was the best when it comes to bending notes, pinch harmonics,... and the rake on this solo is absolutely killer. Excellent work it takes some technique to play this one...

hi mario ..! .. I have to make the complimenti..esecuzione "almost" perfetta..il sound and 'very similar and the touch of the strings .. equal ..! .. and I have to thank you because I like your lesson guitar for this piece .. I also am a guitarist, sound in the street, and I do a bit 'of everything, .. and also (of course) the great Pink .. if there is' some dickhead who criticizes you because we "cover" .. let them lose .. in the midst of such crap music and soulless without philosophy and thought, .. a thousand times better to redo a piece of Pink, or other groups that have made history instead of chatting ... utmost respect so even those who cover it sounds, especially if they do it well ... like you just one last question .. I'd like to know what effect pedal or uses to get the sound, .. I'm trying to avvicinarmici but I struggle, I really like .. your .. always that for you is not a segreto..se can answer you leave my facebook: alex mara (roma) ..... and always good music. . !! ciao

I'm still not gettin' until today! It's hard to emulate 'perfectly'. I didn't do like Gilmour did at the recording, on that video, and still don't do it when i play live. I just funk it the way i can! Just try you own way ... sometimes is better than get frustated by not doing exactly like him. Thanks for watching =) sorry my english and greetings from Brasil!
